A total rip-off - came to our house to remove snow from roof and clear ice dam from guttersThis is a ranch house and he was on roof for one hour, cleared 1/of entire roof and maybe about a foot of ice dam and charged $I have since called three roofing companies who do this work and each one repeated the same thing - you were ripped offThe most expensive of the three was $per worker per hour, minimum of two workersCompare that to $for an hour and a job that was 25% competedNever again

Excellent experience! Glenn cares about his customers and goes beyond the extra mile! On time, Personally deals with vendor issues and answers his own phone!!! No voice mails or telephone tag! Job done quickly and neatly!

In regards to the above complaint # [redacted] there are some issues which need to be brought up. The chimney in question is made out of...

wood as others on the house are. They are framed up, have plyscore and wood shingles for siding with a metal cap encompassing the top. The flues run thru the metal cap. I have replaced siding on the 1 in question and stained the repairs. I only replaced some of them as I thought this was contributing to the leakage over the garage apartment ceiling. On completion of repairs I had asked the client to notify me if the leak had stopped. I had not been notified of the problem for months so I then removed the staging. This wooden chimney is original to the construction of the home and was not included in the roofing replacement contract. I finally decided  that the best solution was to water test it with a hose. After saturating the siding of the chimney and abutting roof for over a half hour with no sign of a leak from my associate I directed the water to the the metal chimney cap. The leak was immediate and we shut down the water. The leaking inside the cap has been going on for some time as the wooden supports inside are deteriorating.           It's unfortunate that this has happened but I have seen this before on wooden chimneys.  I do not assume responsibility for pre existing violations as noted on our contract . As I stated before the wooden chimneys were not part of the roofing contract.                                         ... Glenn R. G[redacted]                                  ...
