Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Steve’s Golf carts is stating that we should have been told the age of batteries and expected life spanWhich we were notHe has now added new information that we should have been offered an opportunity to purchase new batteries at a discounted price which we were notWe were told during our telephone conversation with owners daughter that the battery life is years which now being confirmed as in writingIf we had been given the information Steve’s Golf Carts is now claiming to give on all sales we would have chosen to keep lookingWe basically bought a very expensive shellSteve’s did not address the speed sensor that we were told was under warranty however they wanted to charge us more to transport than the repair itselfThey did not honor their own warranty Regards, [redacted]
Good morningI apologize for our delayed responseWe did receive the phone call from Mrs [redacted] and her husband who spoke in the background during the duration of the phone callI've attached a copy of the sales receipt showing the purchase of the Club Car Precedent serial number ending in #***At time of sales the customer is always told that the carts over the price of $will carry a Year Drive Train Warranty consisting of coverage on the motor, controller, and rear endAt the time of sale also the customer is always shown the batteries and told the year model of the batteriesFor the top of line batteries you do expect 4-years when they are brand newAs shown on the sales receipt it is not stated at all that the cart carried new batteriesMrs [redacted] and her husband getting the time they have out of the batteries with them being used is actually very well, even though she and her husband could not come to see thatWe apologize that they feel this inconvenience however they did not choose a cart with new batteries or even to add the new batteries to the used cart at a discounted priceWe value our customers and their business alwaysPlease let me know if you need anything elseThank you
