I am rejecting this response because:Just to clarify the partial payment was $The fence was not properly reinforcedWhich is documented by the insurance adjuster that came to our property 4/10/He stated the rear fence is leaningAs well as the 2nd contractor we hire to complete the jobI personally walked up to the fence and could move it myselfThe contractor insisted we understand the need to continue to reinforce the fenceSince it wasn't properly done by the previous contractor.The only thing you did complete was pressure washing the fenceI agree you should get paid for thatHowever, the paint and the color is a different situationYou made the mistake of purchasing the wrong transparency, not meAnd you took ownership of the mistakeYou took the paint and exchange it for the color matching our neighbors plankYou came back a month later and painted the other side of our fenceYou also stated that you would incur the cost of the mistake to replace the boardsWe're not covering the cost of the paint, because you didn't use a lot at all and you didn't leave any materials with us. We never discussed increasing the overall costHowever, we did discuss decreasing it because of how long it was taking to complete the job. 2/7/17-hired2/11/17-started work throughout that week3/2/17-came and painted left side half of the front fenceThe wrong color because you made the mistake with the transparency. 4/9/17-*** came back to the house to paint the right side of our fence a difference color but leaving the bottom of the fence unpainted. Note: In between these dates *** was not communicating with usWe had to proactively reach out to him to get an update on when he would come back to finish the job. 4/31/17-We asked for a refund because it had been almost months with barely any services rendered and he had a large portion on our money. If you did $worth of work, why would we have to pay another contractor $to complete the fence work? Almost the same amount you originally quoted.You definitely didn't complete $worth of work and you agreed in a text message to give us a refundAt the most you completed $worth of work.

After getting partial payment to start the job and everything was going as planed we reinforced the fence that took two days and after that was done we started to pressure was the fence and that took two days so after that we started staining the fence to the color the custemer
pick out she came home from lunch and said that the wrong color that she pick out so I told her it's the color you pick out and if I have to Chang colors the I'm going have to replaced the boards and told it would an extra cost because the regaulnal pice wasbut I told her I could do for price we agreed on but then she said that she was not paying for the board so IAAF well it's not coming out my pocket cause it's not my fault that she wanted a different color so she said she wanted a refund but she wasn't getting one back cause the work we did came out to the and that was all that was said until now with materials and labor was more then she gave me that's all I have to say thank you
