I called Bailey Brothers Heating to diagnose my furnace issueThe repair man ( [redacted] arrived and informed me I needed a new valve for the furnaceThe cheapest rate was $labeled as "The Bandaid." I was not a 100% about the decision on purchasing the valve but I told him to go ahead and replace itNo later than 3-minutes later I explained to him that as a single mother of two and without background knowledge in the heating department that I would have felt more comfortable seeking quotes for the furnace valveBy this time, the valve had already been replaced and he explained to me that because it has already been replaced that I would still have to pay for the labor with consisted of over $This was and still is very upsettingI ended up paying $for one valve replacement and 99% of the time the repair man had his ear phones in listening to his music in which I felt closed some time for communication

First my appointment was form a Friday at 1pmThe Tech was a no show by 1:30, so I called and asked if the Tech was still planning to come The Scheduler told me the Tech was running behind but he would be there at 3pmCome 2:30, I get a call from the Scheduler saying that it would have to be rescheduled for the following weekWe agreed on Monday at noonFast forward to Monday morning, I get a call at 9am from a Scheduler asking to move the appointment to 3pmWTH!!! I filled the Scheduler in on their past practice with missed appointments, and the Scheduler agreed that the Tech would show at Noon
The Tech showed at Noon and seemed as if it was a bother for him to be here In addition to his arrogant attitude, he also pressured my wife to purchase a new/not needed thermostat and when she declined, his attitude became crappier! We are not interested in hiring Bailey Brothers to do any work and they would not receive a recommendation for my family

I am actually looking for service for my central air conditioner right now and doing so brought back the most awful experience I had with Bailey Brothers last winterI called them because my heater was no longer working A man came out by the name of *** *** I believe He was rude and listened to headphones the entire visit His quote on a valve replacement was over $dollarsInitially, and by regret I agreed but literally minutes later when I told him that I no longer feel comfortable with that decision he then explained that it was too late and removing it was going to be $300+A single mother of two, I was outraged of his ridiculous price for something I sat by and lasted minutes! Honestly I was so broken, I criedThis company is the reason we consumers can't trust anyonemonths later, here I am writing a review on this terrible experience Do not waste your time

Rate Bailey Brothers Plumbing a big "F"! Tried to charge me over $1900 for a simple electric water heater replacement. When I refused, they charged me $88.88 service call charge. Home Depot installed a highly rated Rhem tank for less than $900, savings of $1000!!

I called Bailey Brothers Heating to diagnose my furnace issue. The repair man ([redacted] arrived and informed me I needed a new valve for the furnace. The cheapest rate was $661 labeled as "The Bandaid." I was not a 100% about the decision on purchasing the valve but I told him to go ahead and replace it. No later than 3-5 minutes later I explained to him that as a single mother of two and without background knowledge in the heating department that I would have felt more comfortable seeking quotes for the furnace valve. By this time, the valve had already been replaced and he explained to me that because it has already been replaced that I would still have to pay for the labor with consisted of over $300. This was and still is very upsetting. I ended up paying $506 for one valve replacement and 99% of the time the repair man had his ear phones in listening to his music in which I felt closed some time for communication.

we received a request from the customer to inspect a line that had been repaired. The customer did not tell the dispatcher that it had been covered up. He was quoted a basic service call of $88.88 to come out and look at it. No labor was...

involved. If the customer had told the dispatcher that we would have to dig up the line, then we would have quoted a price for that. It is unfortunate that there was not a better understanding of what was to be done. If the customer actually believes that we were going to dig up the line to inspect it for a service call price we will refund him the entire amount, thank you, [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 14, 2015/05/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept that there was a misunderstanding in this case. I did believe that digging up the line was going to be part of the original service call. I would like to be reimbursed the $88.88.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 22, 2015/08/19) */
We credited back to a credit card we thought belonged to the customer. We credited the refund to the wrong customer. This customer never contacted us in any way to tell us he had not got his refund. We have tried to contact the customer to get his credit card information so we can give him credit but he has not returned our calls. If he will contact us we can take care of this refund.
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 24, 2015/08/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The refund has now been issued as agreed. Thank you.
