180 LNFT Fence with 2 4' Gates. Customer was to provide the material which was all of the pickets, 2x4's, gate hardware, nails, etc. and also the delivery cost plus labor. The customer asked for the fence to be stained due to the pickets were not to his satisfaction, I did inform him that I would stain them, but that there would be an additional charge. He contacted me later to inform me that there were no handles on the gate, I responded back to him that he did not provide handles. In addition to this, Mr. [redacted] chewed me down on the price which I did come on. If the fence wasn't completed to his satisfaction, why would he pay me the remaining balance on the fence? The issue here is that he wanted me to come back and stain the fence for free. I have built many of fences and never had have had any complaints, if anything, I have had many satisfied customers that have given me an outstanding recommendation, and referrals. In addition to this job, I have had to hired someone to come out and mowed down the high weeds to install the fence at my cost. He did not pay for any of that. The customer did say that he would have that done before the start of the job, but didn't. This is one customer out of MANY, who is just not satisfied no matter what. If letters of recommendation are needed, I will forward those. Until then, this job has been completed This customer has posted rude comments about Taylormade Home Improvements on the internet, which I have printed out, and will pursue legal action for slander. And...one more thing, this job was completed back in April 2015, why all of a sudden has this issue come up? 4 months later? Sounds strange, I see that he claims that this job was done back on June 11, 2015, during that time, I was out of state from June 4, 2015—June 10, 2015, then out of town from June 11, 2015—June 14, 2015, and have all documentation for proof if needed. I will provide what all is needed to prove my whereabouts during that time. I am a man of integrity and take my work very seriously.
