Please be advised that I have attached our substantiating documentation in answer to the complaint of Ms*** *** She continues to insist that her representative is her mother who is a broker. As such, she is completely aware of her client's/daughter's responsibility to read
and understand documents prior to signing. Ms*** signed (electoronically) and submitted the application for rental at The Lakes at Cypresswood ApartmentsShe was or should have been aware of the ramifications of cancellation as stated in Paragraph of the Application Agreement. Ms*** and her broker/mother do not like the penalty imposed, the potential of which they were aware, should she cancel after her application was approved. We regret that she is unhappy and is choosing to take every avenue possible to try to obtain the answere she seeksWe, however, have the right to withold her deposit and in accordance with our policies, the agreement she signed and our obligation under Fair Housing Laws to treat everyone equally fully intend to do so

[Provide details of why you are not: it's was fixed only on January 1 for 4-5 hours and then it's take abut 5-9 hours to heater work up to 70 degree. The Amergency line maintanence was very rude and dismissive. I request disciplinary note!

Ms. [redacted]'s heater was fixed properly on January 1st, 2018.  She phoned in to the after hours phone number requesting service. Our on call maintenance technician did respond and replaced the heat strip in her unit. The system was working properly when they left.  Ms. [redacted]...

called again later that night.  Maintenance reported to her apartment first thing in the morning on January 2nd only to find the heating system was turned off, yet the thermostat was reading the temperature as 60 degrees in the home. Maintenance turned the heating system on and it immediately began warming up.  Within a matter of minutes, the system was reading 66 degrees while set at 72 and continuing to rise.  Her request for service was addressed and remedied in a reasonable amount of time. With extreme cold temperatures, we advised her not to turn her system off when she leaves during the day, as it will take it extra time to heat back up at night.   To the best of our understanding, this situation was resolved appropriately and no further action is required.   Please let us know if you need any additional information.

I have reviewed the resident file and based  on the information I reviewed we  have decided to give her the credit she is requesting.
