Stevens Moving and Storage pulled our Arizona to Virginia move together on short notice, and it was great! I knew the Stevens professionals were respected, but they surpassed my high expectations I highly recommend them Thank You [redacted] , [redacted] , and team!

Stevens Moving did an excellent job! I felt very comfortable with the answers, information and initial communication I received from [redacted] , my contact person They confirmed a few days before the move They arrived on time and worked hard until the move was complete (It was a hour day for them) The owner and several workers were there They were patient and polite to my family member with Dementia Not one item was even scratched in our mile move They continually asked me if everything was going ok and if they could do anything else I appreciate the great job Stevens Moving did They made our move much easier than I expected it to be

My experience with Steven Moving and Storage can only be considered a positive experience They managed to take what was shaping up to be a an extremely stressful experience to be as stress free as we might have hoped for They were fair in the pricing of their services and on-time with their packing and pick up of our possessions My wife and I found them courteous and professional in behavior, and our possessions were treated with very good care The delivery at the final destination was timely and the unloading taking less then two hours

SO grateful to Stevens Moving & Storage for a great experience as we moved from Tucson, AZ to Durango, CO! We had originally reserved a 2-man crew to help us load a Uhaul truck and cargo trailer, but when my husband injured his leg and was unable to do much loading, or make the long drive himself, *** got busy helping us work things out, including hotel reservation for her crew and airfare back to Tucson! Arrangements were made, and *** *** and *** loaded everything, being extremely careful in wrapping, protecting and loading everything! They were extra careful with all my husbands glass display cases! Then, *** *** and *** drove the truck and trailer, did the unloading and helped position furniture and set things upalways patient and accommodating! And, the glass cases each made the trip with NO DAMAGE to them, or anything elseWe are extremely pleased with Stevens Moving & Storage, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Terrible service

Unlike the other two review, I had a negative with Stevens Moving & Storage
The forward communication went well and quickIt was done by text messages about me sending how much funiture I wanted to moveI told them I am moving a 3-bedroom with a den and a backyard houseI told them I have a king bed and a queen bed, plus TV stand, couches of a big and a small, office desks, a big dining table, couple large wardrobes and yard funituresAnd I told them I would not rent a U-Haul myself but have them do it
They (people) showed up minutes before scheduled, that's niceThe unpleasant begins with I see them brining a 17' U-Haul truck if not a 15' oneIt is clearly one-trip will not make itI had no way but to accept it by then
Then we start moving the funitures to the truckThis all works fine
The new home is minute away from my current oneAfter we made our first trip, one of them told me he needs to get gas on his way back(The two of them come in a rented truck and a sedanAnd they drove both to my new home, with the sedan carrying nothingAnd later I know one of them is a contractor of Stevens)So he left the new home first while I am placing some small stuff into their placesBy the time I arrived my old home, the guy who left first was not thereIndeed he arrived minutes after I arrivedI know there is union regulation about minute break every 2/hoursBut he just took his break before he left my old houseAnd the other guy, who come back together with me, started working when he is "fueling" his gas
So it took us total trips and they do charge the time for the two extra trips because they brought a small truckThat's very unprofessional
Another frustrating thing is that I had a king bed, supported by two Twin-size adjustable bedframesThey broke the frames, it will not adjust properly using the remote (you can't adjust the frame manually anyway), moving only one direction and the two frames moving on different directions! So the mattress is twisted while on the bedThey took a long time trying to fix it, but not workingBy the time of 530pm, one of them told me he had to leave because he had another moving to work onAt that time, there are still a couple of funitures out of place, and they are the heavy onesFor example, a queen bed is a feet away from the wallIt is again very unprofessional by not able to estimate the workload correctly
About the bed, one told me either the contractor came back tomorrow to fix it then it became business between me and their contractor, or we go by insurance just charging the piece what they thought to be brokenThey insurance went by weight so will probably only paid $I was exhausted and frustrated so I had to trusted their contractorThey charged me for all the time they spent, including the extra trips as well as time spent on trying to fix the bed
They failed to meet my expectation of professionalismThe extra time was due to them breaking the furniture as well as not able to estimate the workload, both time and size, also one disappearing for 20~minutesThe became even less professional when they charge me for the extra due to their unprofessionalism
Back to the bed work, their contractor, indeed, did an exceptional job, by spending extra time that day, helping me to get the bed in shape so I could at least sleep on it while I could not adjust the frame by remoteHe also spent a lot of time finding the broken piece, order it from e-bay, and delivered it to me after a week to fix the bedDuring this week, he update me on a daily basisI told him after that "if you are going to open your own business, I'm with you"

I found Stevens Moving on Facebook and then messaged them I was quoted that it would take about two and a half hours to move me out if my old place and into my new placeThe day if the move young men showed up They were very polite and professional But it took them hours not what I was quoted When we got to my new place they had to get an extra man to help with bringing all my stuff into the apartment I have had other movers before but I have never seen seen anyone as slow as they wereIt cost me twice as much as what I was told it wouldThen when I told them I did have that much they had to call the office and get an hour and a half off the price To say the least I was not a happy customer I know this, if I ever had to move again I would not use this company againDon't get me wrong they were nice and did knock the price down but the point is I think I would hire someone else
