Wonderful work by Mike Tipton Roofing Large square foot house with steep portions represented a tough job, but Mike and his crew handled it well The House looks wonderful now and in fact with the new brown color shingles that Mike helped me pick out, the house has never looked better The crew were all friendly and respectful of my family and my property All work was done quickly and all calls or questions were responded to quickly and professionally I am not an employee of the company and I am not a friend of any Mike Tipton Roofing employee so you can take my high recommendation with confidence
Mike Tipton Roofing provided labor and material for roofing at new carport and existing porchThis work took place approximately one and a half years agoApproximately six to eight months ago, we began to notice water damage to the particle board sheathing at the carportA call was placed to Tipton, he responded and came to view the damaged area and where repairs needed to take placeHe assured me that this was no big deal, a little material and a torch and we would be back in good shapeSince this 'meeting' with Mike Tipton, my wife has made probably close to one hundred calls to Tipton RoofingOut of these calls, she may have spoken to Mike Tipton maybe to timesOn each occasion he provided my wife with a day that he would come to our house to make repairsNo times were given, and Mike requested that someone be home when he, or his crew arrivedHe, nor anyone from his crew ever showed upMike and/or crew missed, disregarded, or blew-off all his appointmentsOne man and a kid showed up late one afternoon to look at the roof leaksAs the man began climbing his ladder I noticed that he was dressed in little, old, flimsy slippers of some sort....the heels had been squished down on themHe observed the general area of the leaks and said he could put some 'caulk' in those areasI said that those areas are soaking wet, will the caulking work? He said NO, and that to do the job right, he would have to return with roofing material and a torch to DO THE JOB PROPERLYHe left and we have never seen anyone from Tipton Roofing againSo yes, my wife and I are extremely disappointed in Tipton RoofingI would not recommend them to any kind of job....ever!! The repeated lies, missed appointments, and lost time suffered by my wife and me is positively pathetic! If only there was 'more' of a negative way with which to negatively impact his business, I would most certainly do so!! So in closing, in my opinion, Mike Tipton Roofing should not be in business, based on his more than pathetic, pitiful behavior regarding this simple issue of repairing a leak that he knows, and agrees that he is responsible
Contractor has failed to repair or to cover costs of repairs for water damage resulting from roof failure during roof replacement
August 16, during rainstorm, major water damage occurred as a result of disruption of old roof seal midway into replacement of entire roofContractor verbally agreed to cover all repairsTo date he has covered half of the carpet drying costs and new carpet pad and carpet reinstallation He has promised to replace hardwood flooring and restore paint and drywall damage, but he and his workman have not kept any obligations to come to our home and is not returning our phone calls
