Feel the dealership neglected to alert me to tire wear that became dangerous.[redacted]XXX-XXX-XXXX2013 Chevy CruzePurchased used fall 2014 from Stevenson Chevrolet, Swansboro, NC1. Tire pressure warning indicated very low pressure 6/24/15. 2. Taken to Stevenson Chevy for service.3. They reported the light simply needed reset and rotated the tires as well.4. The attached document shows that they did not give guidance regarding current tire wear or alignment.5. Warning light came on again 7/31/15. I stopped at Kurtis Chevy in Morehead City, NC and they identified extreme wear on all four tires, and alignment so severely off that the computer couldn't even read it properly. I was present for all of this. Kurtis Chevy ([redacted] in service) was wonderful.6. I returned that day to Stevenson Chevy to get have them check. They agreed the alignment was off and the tires dangerous, however they felt it was normal wear for the 37 days since I had been there and offered an alignment and 4 tires for a cost of over $1000.I argue that this amount of wear was not normal for 37 days and 4100 miles. Either something is very wrong with the vehicle or the dealership failed to alert me to tire wear/misalignment on June 24.Desired SettlementDiscount on service to remedy.Business Response /[redacted]/Contact Name and Title: [redacted] (General ManContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@gmail.com[redacted] called in on Friday 7/31/2015 and complained of tire wear and stated they had their vehicle in our shop a few weeks prior with no mention of this matter at that time. The customer was asked to bring their car in so we could check it out for them. We reviewed the customers history to see that they were in on 6/24/2015 with 57,120 miles to have two open campaigns completed. They also had a their lube, oil and filter replaced and the tires rotated. The customer then returned on 7/31/15 at 61,000 miles, which is just over 4,000 miles since previous visit. The tires at this time had secondary rubber showing on the inside edge. We appointed a technician to put the vehicle on the alignment tire rack and at that time the technician found the front toe out on both sides, which would be caused from direct tire wear. The service advisor then explained this to the customer and advised that the vehicle needed new tires in addition to a tire alignment. The customer then refused to have work performed.

Lied about services, harassed me (phone) and due to them screwing paperwork up twice my old vehicle is being repossessed on my credit report naturallyTraded a [redacted] for a new [redacted], salesman lied to me about getting a second pair of keys, a full tank of gas, getting a clean vehicle (stains, marks), etc. After giving them 10,500 dollars cash they decided to go back on the deal from the previous night and force me to pay another 500 cash of what was supposed to be two 500 dollar checks cashed at a later time. Then they screwed up the paperwork, a few days later while in Florida, my vacation was ruined because now I wasn't financed until I went back to them after my cruise. Then (after the cruise and new paperwork signing) I was harassed with ridiculous phone calls from the salesman (3 messages on my wife's voice mail) which after two I called and asked them to make him stop. So after I signed the new paperwork and had [redacted] threaten to ruin my credit because of the late payments on the [redacted] (since Stevenson Chevy wouldn't pay it off). Now [redacted] has me down as over 60 days late and they are repossessing the vehicle from Stevenson tomorrow because they won't pay off [redacted], once again they screwed up on paperwork (no really there's another paperwork mistake), imagine that, the finance company didn't get the right paperwork and I have to suffer and redo Stevenson Chevys job. Timeline: first night, bad deal occurs as well as most the lies, next morning, I find out most of the lies and bad deal and pay extra, go to Florida, call from Stevenson "we screwed up paperwork", cruise, Stevenson signing paperwork when they offer to honor the full tank and clean car but I have to deal with the first dishonest salesman. No thanks, a week later [redacted] calls, we are repossessing your car.Desired SettlementI don't know, get me new credit? Replace the horrible feelings from a 9,000 dollar trip in hell because they screwed up which ruined the vacation. [redacted] ([redacted]). [redacted] I'll settle for seeing what they want to do about the current situation first, and go from there.Business Response [redacted] came in to our dealership on 11/06/2014 and purchased a [redacted] the night he signed the papers he didn't sign them correctly we called Mr. [redacted] to come back in and he told me that he was getting ready to go on a cruise.Mr [redacted] stated to me that he would be gone for about 2 weeks and that [redacted] was calling him about the payoff on his [redacted] that it hadn't been paid off at that time. I told Mr. [redacted] his [redacted] would not be paid off until we got funded on the new vehiclehe purchased. I have talked with [redacted] a couple of times about his payoff and explained to them what we were waiting on him to come in resign so we could get his new vehicle funded. His contract is at [redacted] ready to be funded I Talked with [redacted] yesterday and they are now waiting for Mr [redacted] to send them his awards letter as proof of income so his deal can be funded. I also spoke with Mr [redacted] last night concerning this matter and told him he needed to forward this info ASAP so we can get his deal funded and get the [redacted] paid off at [redacted].Consumer Response To Whom it May Concern, I wrote a report yesterday about Stevenson auto group, specifically Stevenson Chevy in swansboro, nc. At this time I have been contacted and the issues are resolved. I'm happy with the level of service and the corrections being made on my behalf. Thank you and I'm sorry to waste anyone's time.R/S[redacted]

I bought a vehicle from this dealership and my dad agreed to be my cosigner and they wrote me the first contract which I agreed to and then a month later received a bill from a completely different credit union saying I was late on my truck payment so I went back to the dealership to address the issue and they said that they told me that. Contract did nt count and that I was finamvced by a different bank so they printed me off a new contract that I have still yet to sign.and then at the new financial institution they told me that my dad was the primary on the axxou nt which doisdnt maaProduct_Or_Service: 2012 fotrdf150Desired SettlementAll we want is a simple explanantoion to why their dealer forged signatures on to a contract instead off telling the truth. And for them to refund me for the first few payments I missed because they lied to me about what contract I had and what bank I was being financed by. And a simple apology to us for what they did Business Response [redacted] purchased a vehicle from Stevenson Chevrolet on 12/07/2013. in the process of finalizing the deal with the Finance source it became clear that Mr. [redacted] would need the assistance of an additional signer to complete the loan approval process. Mr. [redacted] indicated that his father would be willing to assist and that his father would be arriving in the area over the next few days and would be willing to sign the documents. We received a credit application from Mr. [redacted]'s father and secured a loan approval. the documents were completed and signed by Mr. [redacted] and he took the same documents to his father for signature. Mr. [redacted] returned with the signed documents and the purchase was finalized. Mr. [redacted]'s father initially questioned why he was a primary signer on the loan however he agreed after reviewing the credit application in his possession that he had agreed to be the primary purchaser. Mr. [redacted]'s father emailed us a copy of the signed application he had retained in his possession which attests to this. Mr. [redacted] undertook to have his father sign the loan documents and returned with signatures on these documents so the dealership cannot attest to the reliability of the signatures other than they appeared to match the credit application which all parties agree was signed by Mr. [redacted]'s father. If the signature on the loan document was signed by other than Mr. [redacted]'s father it was while it was in his possession. If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.Kindest regardsConsumer Response I never took any documents to have my father sign. I was told that everything would be done via fax and scan. That is how my father was able to sign the credit application. As far as the other signatures that were needed when I kept asking the dealer what I was suppose to do he said that it was already handled and never filled me in on what was going on. I had no knowledge that it wasn't OK for my dad to sign the credit application while my dad was in [redacted] I asked how my dad was suppose to sign the bill of sell and he kept telling me that he had it handled and it would be fax and scanned to my father never telling me that's not how it was suppose to work so I had no idea.

practice in getting financing and not listing to a customerI purchased a new chevy truck in December of 2012 and asked that they only go through my bank [redacted]. when I checked my credit report I noticed they went to other businesses also without my approval. this put eleven hard hits on my report. I was not happy to say the least. I asked why and was told they were trying to get a better rate which was not the case. I have tried several times for them to get it off my report and was unsucselfull I would like them removed from my reportDesired Settlementonly to get those items removed from my report that they createdBusiness Response Mr. [redacted] did purchase a vehicle in December of 2012. He requested to finance the balance for an 84 month term at the lowest available interest rate and suggested [redacted] as a possible source. In order to present Mr. [redacted] with the options he requested regarding low finance charges it was necessary to seek loan approval from multiple lenders. While any purchase necessitates multiple inquiries as both the dealership and prospective lenders must access a customers credit profile in order to make determinations regarding term, rate etc. I would question the number of inquiries Mr. [redacted] suggests that were made on his file adjacent to this purchase. Simply put we do not have that number of lenders who would offer an 84 month term.Subsequent to the purchase and at Mr. [redacted]'s request we prepared letters on his behalf to each of the credit bureaus. these letters were signed by [redacted] General Manager of Stevenson Chevrolet and given to Mr. [redacted] to submit to the credit reporting agencies. Finally it should be noted that while inquiries are a factor in determining credit scores all of the credit reporting agencies agree and publish material to the effect that multiple inquiries associated with a single purchase have no significant effect on a FICO score. If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.Kindest regards[redacted]

After purchasing two vehicles from this dealership and only having the vehicles approx. two months, we started having mechanical issues with the car then about a month later issues with the SUV. After inquiring with the dealership about these, they said they both were over the mileage and three mth warranty for the warranty company to touch but when asked if they would fix the issue since we had not had these vehicles that long, they basically gave and continue to give us the run around and refusing to fix the problems themselves at their cost. I feel we were sold lemons and they should fix the issues. My SUV is currently getting worse and I haven't heard anything from them after I was told they would try and see what they could do to reconcile the situation and haven't heard from them in two weeks now.Product_Or_Service: 9/2013Desired SettlementWould like the dealership to fix what is broke at their cost.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]I have spoken with [redacted], General Manager at Stevenson Chevrolet, regarding this matter. [redacted] did buy a vehicle from Stevenson and did experience some problems subsequent to his purchase. Stevenson offers a 3 month 3000 mile power train warranty on vehicles that do not qualify for our Lifetime coverage however unfortunately [redacted]'s vehicle coverage had elapsed by over 2000 miles. Not withstanding this we did a diagnosis free of charge for [redacted]. The diagnosis was that the vehicle had been run "hot" (i.e.. in an overheated condition ) and this resulted in damage to the engine. This is a condition that would not be covered by any warranty company or manufacturer. Despite this we did offer [redacted] financial assistance towards the cost of the repair but he chose not to have the vehicle repaired at that time.Subsequently we worked with [redacted] in an attempt to trade the vehicle but for a variety of which [redacted] is aware we were unable to accomplish this goal.[redacted] has had several conversations with [redacted] regarding this and other matters. [redacted] has been kind enough to recently refer a customer to the dealership and we remain open to further conversations.Kindest regards[redacted]
