Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: First, I still do not understand why last month of membership need to be collected in the beginning Second, If it needed to be collected in the beiginning, it should have been more throughly explianed to me what it takes to use the gym in the last month which I rightfully paid for rather than just hide in the middle of the agreement, which rarely people read Thrid, first I gave verbal notification, then they asked me to email So I emailed , then they asked me to come in and fill out a form so I went it and fill out the form It seems like they elongate the canceling process to make the member to miss the cut off date Forth, my verbal notice was on the 8th, what they are telling me is if I gave the notice on the 5th I would have able to use the gym I like to know what happens in the three days that would cost Stevensons gym $if they would let me use the last month which I already pay for This is matter of principle Stevenson Gym deceives members to extort the last month of the membership by not explaining the procedure and try to elongate the process True story, when I called on the 20th afternoon a lady named D [redacted] answered the phone when I inquired about the matter first thing out of her mouth was, "Wow, you actually remembered...most of people don't." Review: Up front Stevenson Fitness requires member to pay for the last month of the membership. But without proper reason they require to have 10 day notice for termination and would not allow member to use that last month without it. They collected the money and kept the money, but would not let the member use the facility. This is simple extortion. They want to keep the money without providing any service! And they have audacity to ask the member to pay another $55 on top of money collected if the member wants to use the gym the last month.Desired Settlement: If they refuse to let me use the gym, I want my $44.00 back.
