I recently obtained my NC CNA I certificate of completion from my community collegeI have been trying to obtain my state certification but my state exam keeps getting cancelled by PearsonThis is the fourth time I have had to schedule my state exam because of Pearson VueI have called them numerous times and spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue, to no availWhen I call them, they do not care about helping me solve this problemOne representative gave me a number to call and it did not even workAnother representative put me on hold and then disconnected meIt is sad that the state of North Carolina contracts out a company like this to make money off of state issued certifications
Hospitals are in desperate need of CNAs but how can they hire them and provide adequate patient care when we cannot even obtain our certificationsThis needs to change NOWThis issue is entirely out of my control and I cannot even get the opportunity to speak to someone in charge regarding this issueThe health care industry is affected by these cancellations, future/prospective CNAs are affected by the exam cancellationsI have obtained other certifications and did not run into any of these issues because Pearson was not involved at all in those certificationsThis is a disaster and needs to be fixed for the sake of the health care industry, future CNAs, and patient care
I was turned away because of the secondary ID I presentedI explained I had a week marriage and only got through changing half of my name stuffI asked what I could doI was told call the TEA and have them deal with itI didThey were confused by their behaviorI also called Pearson Vue corporate and then another testing siteThe other site AND corporate said I could have used another ID that I had on me however I was unaware of this and I wasn't advised or told anything about itSO now they are trying to keep my $and charging me againI am a single mom of three that currently works for almost nothing as a Teacher's aideI want my money freed up to reschedule my test at the other facility that was actually very pleasant and helpful
