Called Customer and left message addressing issue

[redacted] and the owner are working to resolve the issue with the customer.

When the customer was transferred to me it was never explain that the scratch was on the inside of the drum. She said her husband was vacuuming and noticed a 10" scratch on it. Never said it was on the inside. I tried to explain that the customer has 48 hours to report cosmetic damage. However, now...

on the report it states that it is on the inside of the drum. We have talked to the customer and have a part on order for her. The part is on order from the factory and when it comes in we are going out to put it on. All should be resolved.

The product was on a back order. We gave the customer the option to have the order refunded, to wait until it was in stock or have a scratch and dent dryer, with a very minor cosmetic flaw at a discounted price. He accepted the scratch and dent at the discounted price. His delivery was on time.
