This letter is in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] concerning the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.  
I empathize with Ms. [redacted], however there are no warranties we, as a dealership supply without additional cost to the customer.  These warranties are called service...

contracts.  After reviewing the entire sales folder, speaking with the staff, including the salesmen, there was never any promise of any type of service contract on said vehicle at any time.  As a used car and truck dealership, we have service contracts available for purchase which Ms. [redacted] declined due to financing through their own source.  All vehicles are sold As Is and that includes this sale.
In the customer statement that was written to Revdex.com, Ms. [redacted] states there were rocks in the transmission.  I do not see that being possible; the transmission is in an enclosed case.  If it was not, there would be transmission oil seeping out if it.  There would be no way to move it at any time.  As the customer stated, they drove it approximately 4 months before there was an issue.

I believe that they knew the transmission was shot when they sold the vehicle to me and would not do anything to try to fix car. bought 12/31/14I purchased this car 12/31/14 and they assured me there was nothing wrong with the car at that time and that if I had problems to let them know and now they say that its my problem and I just recently made first payment. Car is at mechanic shop at this moment (Griffin Automotive) unable to be fixed because we do not know the actual mileage and therefore cannot be repaired.It is a 2008 Saturn [redacted] Sales Rep was [redacted] (Owner & his Son) Spoke with his brother [redacted] on phone 2/19/15 and again on 02/20/15and he said its my problem and they are unwilling to do anything. Paid 275.00 monthly payment February 3, 2015. Paid 1000 down and 1500 trade in. I am a single mother and I believe they took advantage of me in this transaction and concealed the fact that there were transmission issues with this vehicle. Desired SettlementI want a full Complete Refund for the value of my trade in that was applied as well as any money that was put down on this car 2500 plus the monthly payment for January of 275.00 and they can pay towing cost to come pick it up from mechanic shop in [redacted] TN. Review: I bought a 2008 Chevy Equinox from Steve's Auto in Billings, MT late June/early July and they have failed to provide me with my titlework even though it has been 7 months. Since buying the car, I have contacted them a number of times to remind them of my titlework and have been given the run around multiple times with basically the dealer saying they have sent the titlework to the courthouse and the courthouse responding they have yet to receive it. I finally called the dealer today and was informed they haven't received the titlework from the previous owner, which they failed to mention the number of times they have given me the runaround in the last 6 months. I have heard from numerous people that a dealership isn't even legally allowed to sell a vehicle without the titlework in their posession which unfortunately I did not know. If I had known, I never would have bought my vehicle and could've avoided this frustrating and very unprofessional experience.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be to recieve my titlework within the next two weeks since I know this is more than reasonable considering the mess they have put me through for 7 months. I know each of the employees at Steve's Auto would be just as frustrated if this experience had happened to them. If they can not deliver this promised titlework within two weeks, I will either seek an attorney since this is illegal behavior on their part or return the vehicle and require a refund on the car.
