Review: I took my car to steve's full service shop to have my car checked it was running ok when I took it to him.I left my car with steve saying he was going to find out what the problem was. When I got back to steve he was telling me that it could be a radiator problem or a trans cooler problem. So he told me he was going to see which product was needed when I got back to him the second time he told me he put a filter on changed the oil to the car and brought the transkit to do it.call steve he says car done you can come get it.As soon as I get the car home it leaks all over the street.I call steve the next day he tell me well you know you might need the trans cooler on there.I said steve I thought we covered that already. So I have the car towed back to him and again he tells me I put the cooler on there I said did all the water come out he said no it still might have to drain but drive it you have to drive it,so while I was driving I guess all the oil was leaking out I was at a light when I started out the car would not move it jerked forward about to hit another car and then stared to smoke this happened three times and he was paid for the work he did except for half of the last payment when I was almost in a accident I decided to contact the Revdex.com for help because he did nothing to my car and now I have no more car.I would just like my money back that I paid him and that'[s it I will never use his shop or recommend it.Desired Settlement: cash just like I gave him he does not except credit

July 10, 2014Dear **. [redacted]:The customer in question brought his car to my repair shop and asked me to check it because he was having a problem with it. I checked the car and found that antifreeze was mixing with transmission fluid.I informed the customer of the problem and told him that I would try to save the transmission, but he might have already done damage to it. I told him I would drain the contaminated fluid and change the damaged filter in the transmission with new fluid and a new transmission filter. The customer took the car home and called me back and said that all of the transmission fluid leaked out. I told him to return the car to me so I could check it out.He returned the car to me, I informed him that the radiator had to be replaced. In order to save him money I would by-pass the radiator with a transmission coolant, and he agreed.I installed the transmission cooler, changed the transmission filter and also put in new transmission fluid. The car was picked up by the customer and I informed him of what I had done and told him it would cost him $125.00.The customer paid me $50.00 and asked if he could take the car and pay the balance of $75.00 to me the following week. I told him that would be okay, but he never paid. The customer’s mother brought the car back to me saying that it wasn’t running right. I had her accompany me when I took the car on a road test, and it ran fine. However, she felt as though the car wasn’t working right. Once again, I took the car back into the shop, changed the transmission fluid , installed yet another new transmission filter at no charge.I informed the customer that he might have already done damage. His mother returned saying that the car still wasn’t functioning right. She was asked to return the car to me so I could check it once more, but instead of bringing the car back to me, she took the car keys and left.Through all that transpired I tried to help the customer. It is not my fault that the radiator damaged the transmission as the result of antifreeze and transmission fluid mixing. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####,Yours truly,STEVE’SFULL SERVICE AUTO REPAIR CENTER
