Good morning. I apologize for our delayed response. We did receive the phone call from Mrs. [redacted] and her husband who spoke in the background during the duration of the phone call. I've attached a copy of the sales receipt showing the purchase of the 2009 Club Car Precedent serial number ending in...

#[redacted]. At time of sales the customer is always told that the carts over the price of $2000 will carry a 1 Year Drive Train Warranty consisting of coverage on the motor, controller, and rear end. At the time of sale also the customer is always shown the batteries and told the year model of the batteries. For the top of line batteries you do expect 4-5 years when they are brand new. As shown on the sales receipt it is not stated at all that the cart carried new batteries. Mrs. [redacted] and her husband getting the time they have out of the batteries with them being used is actually very well, even though she and her husband could not come to see that. We apologize that they feel this inconvenience however they did not choose a cart with new batteries or even to add the new batteries to the used cart at a discounted price. We value our customers and their business always. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: Steve’s Golf carts is stating that we should have been told the age of batteries and expected life span. Which we were not. He has now added new information that we should have been offered an opportunity to purchase new batteries at a discounted price which we were not. We were told during our telephone conversation with owners daughter that the battery life is 10 years which now being confirmed as false in writing. If we had been given the information Steve’s Golf Carts is now claiming to give on all sales we would have chosen to keep looking. We basically bought a very expensive shell. Steve’s did not address the speed sensor that we were told was under warranty however they wanted to charge us more to transport than the repair itself. They did not honor their own warranty.
