Steves's One Day Service

Review: I arranged for the appliance repair of my dryer. the charge was $69.50 for this service. the repair person came named [redacted].he looked at my dryer & replaced a part. called an ignitor, I was charged $62.90 for this part. the day of the service call was monday 6-2-14. while [redacted] was here we had discovered the washer wasn't pumping out water. [redacted] said it would cost $45.00 to look at my washer. he said it needed a motor. he said he would order the motor. on wednesday 6-4-14 I went to the laundromat & washed 4 loads of clothes, I came home to dry them & the dryer didn't work. I called [redacted]' to tell them the dryer was broke. [redacted] would then come back thursday 6-5-14 to look at the dryer & put the motor in the washer. he could not figure out why the dryer wasn;t working & took the part out that he had put in & charged me for. then he put the motor in the washer it didn't sound right so he took it out, then said I needed a new washer & dryer & left.I called [redacted] & told him I wanted a refund, he said not until my check cleared which I wrote out to the business for 189.80. I also spoke to someone named [redacted] who agreed that I should be refunded 1/2 the $45 charge & all the part money, she also said I should call [redacted] again in 3-4 days to remind him. my check cleared on 6-13-14, I called [redacted] monday 6-16-14 to remind him what we had agreed to & I also mentioned he had my money cause the check cleared 6-13-14. he said he would put a check in the mail the next day. I did not reciev a refund. I called again on the 19th & was again told he would put a check in the mail tthe next day. again nothing came. I called him again on sunday 6-22-14 & left a message that I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. he returned my call 15 minutes later but I did not call him back because I did not think he would be honest & he would again tell me the check was in the mail. I waited a couple of days just in case he would do the right thing. but he has not. so I am filing this complaint. thank youDesired Settlement: I was completely satisfied with getting the money for the part & half the $45, but now I think I should get all the $45. he should still keep the service call of $69.50, but I also feel he didn't fix anything & i'm out almost $200 for nothing. I would still like my complaint to be on record he had several oppurtunities to resolve these issues, so I think I want all my money back. thank you.
