The complaint was submitted on 4/8/2014 while this incident with this specific customer happened on 03/24/2014.
The customer had a take out order for $27.45 at the end of the night when we put in tips manually into our credit card machine one of the new employees accidently punched in the tip amount to her batch credit card number. Unfortunately they couldn’t refund it right away because there was no manager present and you need a code. The next day when I came to work I saw the note of what had happened the previous night and I fixed it right away. I refunded the $32.62 that was accidently charged. I even had a delivery driver deliver a gift certificate of $20.00 to apologies and make up for the mistake and the inconvenience that took place at our store.
I unfortunately don’t have the exact credit card receipt. I did contact our credit card company and they faxed me the statement regarding the customers’ credit card number.
In the statement that is listed below you can see that the amount of $27.45 was charged on 3/24/2014 the tip of $32.62 was added the same day making it $60.07. The next day which was 3/25/2014, you can see that I made a return of $32.62 to the same credit card number, which, belongs to this specific customer. I also added the copy of the gift certificate that was sent out on 3/25/2014.
 I hope this letter explains of the situation that happened in our store. I would just like to add that mistakes do happen and we do try our best to fix them, right away.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response of the owner of Stevo's to this Revdex.com complaint was not the response she had given me. 
the date of the purchase of my take out order was 5:31 pm on sunday march 23.  not the 24th.  it may have been posted on the [redacted] statement on the following day which was monday the 24th however.  so you fixing the problem the next day is false.  I checked my [redacted] statement on tuesday the 25th of march.    the only reason I checked my [redacted] statement was because the cashier (who was not a new employee)  charged my [redacted] $2745.45  instead of $27.45.  i was expecting to see two charges.  the first one of $2745.45 and the second one of $27.45.    but the second charge was $60.07.   luckily she did initially charge me over $2700 for pizza or  I would not have found the $32 tip that someone at Stevo's Pizza added to our takeout order.    accidentally charging my credit card $2745.45 instead of $27.45 was a  mistake I am sure.   we were not upset with that at all.  however "accidentally punching in a tip amount"  as you stated, to my credit card of $32.00 was no mistake.  
after talking to [redacted] that tuesday the 25th (2 days after my credit card was charged) to inquire about the false charge I filed a dispute with them and then came into Stevos pizza and spoke with [redacted].   She was unaware of the incident,  she did admit there was not manager on that evening and said that the cashier would never add a tip to the bill.   at no time did she mention "the mistake"  the cashier had made.  She did offer to give me a refund and I told her I had followed a dispute with [redacted] and that they were taking care of it.  at that time I asked to see the receipt of $27.45 that my husband had signed for the takeout order.   she said she did not have the key to the room to get it.   she did say that maybe the cashier had typed in $32 instead of $3 for the tip.  I told her my husband does not tip on takeout and would not have left a tip.   again she did not mention that the cashier had left her a note asking her to fix her mistake that occured 2 days ago.    I then gave her my cell phone number and asked her to call me so I could come see the slip that my husband signed to see if it was altered or a tip was added to it.   she called and few hours later and could not provide the slip.  she then said she had talked to someone at [redacted] and that they told her they([redacted] charged my card $32 because of the large amount that was charged to my card $2745.45 and then refunded.   I told her that did not make sense at all.  she again offered to just refund my money and would then give me a gift certificate.    (which by no way is a resolution to defrauding someone)  after getting of the phone with her I called [redacted] to inquire about this.  they said they do not have the capabilities to charge someones card under someones business.   I asked what the owner said regarding this dispute.   [redacted] told me they had not record that she even called them at that point.    A week or so later I called [redacted] and they said that since a refund was given the dispute would close.   They recommended I contact the Revdex.com to file a complaint.  
its unfortunate that her story keeps changing.   if her story was true then she would be able to provide the slip that my husband signed.     I am sure  she does not want to present the slip that has a $32 tip added to it.

Review: Picked up takeout order for $27.45. Paid with credit card. Did not leave tip. Later credit card purchase was posted at $60.32 by stevo,s pizza. Contacted credit card company. Went to pizza place. They offered refund. I asked to see receipt my husband signed. They would not provide.Desired Settlement: To see if there have been other similar complaints with this business. Business to be contacted regarding their fraud.
