I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this record of the interaction is not entirely accurate but I do feel this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do however feel remorse that the tech who visited may not be paid his wage for the time he spent trying to help and I feel the issue could have been managed differently and the miscommunication could have been avoided were it not for the receptionist's lack of professionalism.

Good Afternoon   Thank you for contacting us through the Revdex.com.  We take our work very seriously and I’m glad you reached out to us.  I have reviewed our work order, as well as spoken to the 3 people you spoke to in our office.  I have also review the recorded phone conversation...

that occurred.  My conclusion is that we have a failure to communicate.  Let’s start at the beginning.  Our work order shows that you requested same day service because this is the only toilet in the building.  Your service request was created around 12:20pm.  We arrived at the [redacted] at 3:00pm.  We met with the [redacted] and were directed to the restroom.  Mrs. [redacted] said she had to leave but her paralegal would be here.  We found a toilet that was clogged.  We checked the lavatory and found it was draining fine.  We use this basic tool to determine if just the toilet is clogged or is there a more major issue.  We cleaned the toilet with a closet auger.  We flushed the toilet several times and found it to be flushing well.  We than asked the paralegal to come and check our work.  She saw that the toilet was flushing fine.  We did recommend the installation of a pressure assist toilet.  The pressure assist toilet has a much more powerful flush and will work better than the existing toilet.  When we attempted to collect our fee we were asked to send an invoice, since Mrs. [redacted] was no longer present.  We completed our service at 3:30pm and left the premises.   Mr. [redacted] called the next day and stated that the toilet does not work and he wants us to come back.  We scheduled an appointment.  Mr. [redacted] than called back and said never mind he hired another plumber.  Mr. [redacted] called back again and wanted service today.  At this point in time we explained to him that we could not offer service today.  Mr. [redacted] called back again and spoke with our foreman.  Our foreman explained that if it was a simple toilet clog (as it was the first time) there would not be an additional charge, but if the clog was different that there would be a charge.  There are many different reasons that a toilet can be clogged.  It could be the combination of thickness of toilet paper and the quality of the gravity flush toilet, it could be flushing items not meant to be flushed.  Many different reasons, which is why we generally do not offer a warranty for toilet clogs.  At the conclusion of the phone call we did not make an appointment. I understand Mr. [redacted] is unhappy with the service.  I will remove the charges for this invoice in an effort to satisfy Mr. [redacted]’s complaint.
