The customer, [redacted] has a system that was originally installed by [redacted] in May of Ms [redacted] experienced an issue with her unitThe company that installed her unit, [redacted] wouldn’t honor the customer’s warranty or service the unit due to contractor/customer indifferences The customer contacted Stewart-Air on 3/27/We advised customer that we would honor her warranty for her unitWe also advised customer that she would be responsible for the labor to install a compressorAfter several calls to get the compressor covered under the warranty, the compressor was finally ordered and shippedThe compressor arrived on 4/6/as stated to the customerOn 4/6/we installed the new compressorThe customer called on 4/7/and 4/12/stating that her system still wasn’t working properlyOn 4/7/and 4/14/15, our technicians went to the customer’s homeAfter much consideration, we have decided that it would be in the best interest to refund the customer her moneyWe have contacted the customer and advised her that we would be refunded her money and apologized for any inconvenience that this may have caused

I am rejecting this response because:
After several other professional disgnostics, I am now left with a problem that is more expensive to fix than the $200 I paid in the beginning & the $150 refund. My unit was left open  and exposed for over a week when the company came & recovered the refrigerant. They also removed a drier filter that should collect trash in the unit, screws were left loose on the unit, & pieces on the refrigerant line we damaged and never even acknowledged. Now that trash has collected inside the unit a valve switch is unable to stablize at its desired setting. I wish I had never trusted this company, now im in a worse situation than before.

I am rejecting this response because the check the business sent me was only for $100.00. That is not the final amount that I will accept. When we discussed purchasing the A/C Unit it was agreed that I would have one year to pay interest free. That was not the case. I got charged interest on the purchase amount. Also, the purchase amount that I was billed for was more than the amount I was quoted. I received a green folder with the amount it would cost. That folder was given by [redacted], and when I received my first bill the amount was higher, and I was getting charged interest. So, $100.00 is not enough.

The company that installed her unit, [redacted] wouldn’t honor the customer’s warranty or service the unit due to contractor/customer indifferences....

The customer contacted Stewart-Air on 3/27/15. We advised customer that we would honor her warranty for her unit. We also advised customer that she would be responsible for the labor to install a compressor. After several calls to get the compressor covered under the warranty, the compressor was finally ordered and shipped. The compressor arrived on 4/6/15 as stated to the customer. On 4/6/15 we installed the new compressor. The customer called on 4/7/15 and 4/12/15 stating that her system still wasn’t working properly. On 4/7/15 and 4/14/15, our technicians went to the customer’s home. After much consideration, we have decided that it would be in the best interest to refund the customer her money. We have contacted the customer and advised her that we would be refunded her money and apologized for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
