I was working on ** **  and the lady ask me to come to her house and give her an estimate I did and both her and her husband
Talk it over and agreed to the job and price and the other was for a roof in the back of for $400 made the total $1500

Review: I requested a quote for a job rebuilding a porch. The contractor changed the subject quickly, said we needed a roof repair (we did not), and when I objected, and left the discussion, he spoke with my husband, a senior citizen who agreed to a job that minute putting an aluminum paint on the tar seams of our roof. The salesman/contractor said it would be $1100. When I returned home, I saw that my husband had paid $1500.

This was a fast-talking, unethical, predatory sales pitch resulting in a nnedless job that was basically a touch-up with paint and cost us dearly.

My husband was taken advantage of, given his age and his lack of knowledge. This will also go to Dept of Consumer Affairs and AARP.Desired Settlement: I want this company to refund at least one thousand dollars.

1. They are predatory: they changed the subject of the meeting and fast-talked an older man into a job we did not need.

2. They are dishonest: the "sealing" of our roof took less than one hour and included only painting aluminum on existing tar seals

3. They troll for jobs: they were supposed to come for one estimate and pressured the homeowner into an expensive job he did not need
