I will look into this and see what I can find out. But if the customer paid the tow bills she would have been provided with the receipts at the time she paid the invoices.  If you can supply me with the dates that the car was towed and the year, make, model of the car I will see if I can locate...

them. Also please provide the number that they need to be faxed to.  Once I am provided with the above information I will research this to locate the invoices. Please not that if the invoices were paid by a business, the customer will need to get a copy from the business. I do not issue receipts that were paid by a business to the vehicle owner.

Response:My service manager Jodie [redacted], and myself had both spoken
to Mr. [redacted] prior to and during the repair process. Mr. [redacted] was
informed by both of us that we do not do alignments at our shop. I contacted
Mr. [redacted] with the estimate for repairs and he said to go ahead to do...

them.
Mr. Wilks had also talked to Mr. [redacted] during the course of repairs. I had
also took photos of the damage and sent to Mr. [redacted] at the request of Mr. Wilks.We had to get the sub frame from a scrap yard. It did take a
couple days to get the part in. We had to wait for the part to be delivered
before it could be installed.  When I
would follow up with the scrap yard I kept being told you will have it today. When Mr. [redacted]’s daughter came to pick up the car yes
there was a delay. As it was pulled out of the shop Mr. Wilks noticed that the
front right wheel was not setting correctly. He worked to correct the problem,
to ensure it was safe to drive. When Miss [redacted] returned with the car
saying there was a problem we checked it out. I contacted Mr. Wilks, as it was
after hours. He stated that he would have to check it in the morning there was
nothing he could do at that time. I gave Miss [redacted] a ride home and told
her we would contact her when the car was done. She stated that she would not
be back until Sunday morning. While Mr. Wilks was working on the car he noticed the front
right rim was bent. We found a rim in the back lot and put on the vehicle. Mr.
[redacted] was not charged for the replacement rim. I did tell Mr. [redacted] that I would try to see if I could
get the vehicle in for an alignment for them. Mr. [redacted] wanted it done
ASAP, due to his daughter work and school schedule. I checked with multiple shops
and was unable to get the vehicle in as fast as Mr. [redacted] wanted. Settlement:Mr. [redacted] was advised of the estimate for the repairs.
Mr. Wilks also spoke to Mr. [redacted] about doing the repairs vs towing it
home. Mr. [redacted] said to go ahead with the repairs.For this reason I do not see how a full refund warranted.  I am willing to refund $200.00 that was paid
for a rental. However the delay in getting the part was not on our end, we had
to wait for it to be delivered.

I do feel the shop was negligent in sending the car out with my daughter and that her safety was put in jeopardy. However, I don't have time to pursue any further action in this matter.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.
