This insured was self-contracting to build a home. We have better priced options for builders risk, but they do not cover for self-contracting. We advised the insured we had better priced policies that we could move him too upon completion of the build.

He had a theft claim, which we filed in a timely manner. His claim was not covered because the builders risk he had did not afford it, which is clearly stated in the policy.
