Dear Revdex.com,I am responding to your letter dated 12/17/in regards to a complaint posted to ourwebsite on 12/17/and subsequently sent to the bureau's office on the same dateThecomplaint was in regard to an advertising issue at one of our stores located in Nampa, Idaho.The individual who
issued the complaint received an immediate response within three hoursand was offered an apology and opportunity to rectify the issueWe have yet to hear backfrom the customerBelow is the note the customer received:Thank you for reaching out to share your experience and your concern.We are in fact offering a $.10/gallon discount for both the StinkerAdvantage and Sinclair Green cards at this timeIf you used eitherof these cards and your transaction was processed differently, we wouldlike to correct that for you.Thank you for taking the time to let us know what happened so we canresearch any potential issuesCOO, Stinker Stores.We honor a discount for the usage of our Stinker Advantage Card and Sinclair Green Card with acent off all fuel gallons every dayThe computer system had the incorrect amount of .05cents and not which is what we honorWe did an immediate and thorough investigation toensure the same problem had not occurred at any of our other stores and are proud and happyto report that this was an isolated incident.We do not feel that this issue is in any violation of advertising, but simply a glitch in ourinternal system- and we were immediate to respond that the customer would absolutely getwhat we advertise and that we were not committing fraud or have any bait and switchpractices as accused by the customerAll our stores honor the same advertising of cents offevery gallon of fuel every day.Thank you for forwarding the complaint to Stinker Stores and allowing us an opportunity torespond Please let me know if there is anything else needed or that I can do at this time.Kind Regards,Michael * R***Director of OperationStinker Stores, Inc
