Stinson Carpet One

I wrote a review about this awful company but it is NOT posted. I am a 75 year old handicapped male who has never had a job done so poorly by anyone. This is by far the WORST job I have ever had. The installers they use are awful dirty and can NOT speak English so needless to say there is no communications with them. They did not pot my complaint. I would NEVER recommend them for any job. BTW I was not allowed to leave NO stars or I would have. A 0 or no STAR is to good for them.

Stinson Carpet One is the company I hired when I changed the carpet in my house located in Vista Lakes community in Orlando in April-2018. Chris G is the salesperson there I worked with. He is very nice and very knowledgable and helpful. After searching and contacting a few contractors, Stinson Carpet One offered the best price. They did a good job in terms of the quality of the work and also they finished the job as they promised in the very beginning. They are very professional, very polite and cleaned up after their work. I would recommend this company to anyone I know.

We purchased ceramic tile for our kitchen, carpeting for our steps and upstairs hall and bedrooms, and hardwood flooring for our living room and dining room from Stinson Carpet One. Our sales person, Chris G, was very helpful and patient during the selection process. He also scheduled the measurement and installation dates. It's really convenient dealing with one person for all aspects of the entire job. We also had them remove the existing flooring and baseboards and install new baseboards as well. Their workers showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were very professional and courteous. I have had this type of work done on other homes I have owned, and I can tell you that their installation teams were the best. The big box stores can't compete with the quality of the professional installation at Stinson. Stinson also has a wide variety of prices and selection of flooring products to compete with the big box stores. I would definitely recommend doing business with Stinson Carpet One and would certainly use them again.

I recently shopped for floor tile. Visited half a dozen stores and settled on Stinson because of their selection and customer service. Emely made me feel welcome and valued, and Todd stepped right in one day when Emely wasn't there. They were spot-on in estimating everything I'd need for the job, too... much appreciated by me and my installer. They also were the only shop that allowed me to take samples home so I could see how different colors/textures worked in my space. I recommend them without reservation!

I had damage done to my floor due to a bad storm. So the issue didn't cause any further damage or health risk, I quickly started to shop around to have it replaced. During this time I was also handling business overseas in which required me to travel alot. So the damaged carpet needed to be replaced asap. A lot of the flooring companies could not accommodate my situation as quick as I needed it done, until I met with a sales rep from Stinson Carpet. He was very straight to the point when providing me product details and setting an appointment to have the process done that same week. The rep was very professional and respectful. The job has been completed properly in the time needed and looks great! Job well done!

Very reputable locally owned business that has been around for over 20 years. Sell quality products and offer very personalized customer service.

The wife and I was shopping for outdoor carpet sand flooring thru our house. We was greeted at the door by their sales rep "Emely". Very friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We esily found the outdoor carpeting we were looking for with her help. With her help, we found some flooring that we liked,but was a little bit over our budget. Now what impressed me about their sales people,was,,, most sales people would be working on the next sales,as soon as you are out the door. Not this place. Emily understood what we liked and the price range we needed. She continued for a couple weeks ,sending us samples and worked on the pricing that we needed. This impressed me so very much. And the reason why I am writing this. I am looking forward to visiting them again as soon as we get to the new carpets for our bedroom.

Great service from start to finish

Five stars on every level. If ten stars were allowed, they would've earned it in many ways. We removed and replaced the floors completely during our renovation of a beautiful Heathrow home.

I am a perfectionist and not ashamed to admit it. Stinson met my demands for the highest quality in all aspects of the project. Mark N was genuine, honest and professional from day one as our salesman and point of contact. The job supervisor Mario was equally professional and trustworthy throughout the demo and install. And the work crew were on site early every day, often working into the evening hours. Non stop. But what matters most was the quality of their work. In a word, amazing. As I said, I'm a perfectionist and this was not my first floor job. Their years of experience, attention to detail and ability to work for an entity that appears to support each other at every level (which allows them to strive for a finished product that is perfect both mechanically and esthetically) is worth every penny. And a complete floor job is not cheap, as you know.

If you choose Stinson for your job, you will be completely satisfied with high-quality results. There is a reason they have high ratings. And getting one that's truly five stars from me is not easy.

Please see our attached photos to see the attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Note the trim work that went beyond any norm: tiny areas were trimmed whereas lesser companies would've simply ignored a one inch area. And how the area under the kitchen desk was both trimmed out and quarter rounded, where a low cost installer would've simply ignored it. And please note the beautiful, symmetrical alignment of the flooring, which was constantly perfected by the installers, at the expense of time, versus just finishing the job and letting the alignment fall where it may. This was a custom home with some challenging architectural angles, and getting the flooring alignment was challenging to say the least. But getting it right was paramount. I hope these pictures validate the care that went into their work. In this day and age (especially in the booming Orlando area), its hard to find true first rate workmanship.

I can't vouch for the cost of your project and how Stinson compares, but as far as project results, you will get the best. If we do another project, we would pay a significant premium so as to have them do the work, versus anyone else.

Stinson Carpet One provided excellent customer service and top quality carpet. We had our family room done and are very happy with the results. Their warranty could not be duplicated by any other store we went to. (and believe me we looked around, did our homework, compared prices, and quality). I highly recommend Emely as a sales rep. She was a ray of sunshine that was a pleasure to work with. Overall, I would definitely go back to Stinson for future quotes.

Stinson carpet store was professional and prompt for my carpet installation!

We are twice happy customers of Stinson Carpet One. When we purchased home had complete home laminate flooring installed. Very satisfied with timeliness of the work as well as the quality of the installation. Just recently we had Stinson replace the bottom flooring due to water leak. This time we decided to tile the bottom floor and again the professional work performed in the removal of laminate flooring and installation of the tile was done in a timely manner and upon completion of the project were VERY happy with the results. I purchased tile for the whole house from Stinson's. The tile started chipping in 2 weeks in more than 100 places. Their answer was to use dime store paint on the chips. I have had tiles crack twice which they did replace after an unsatisfactory period of time. The tile is uneven and the grout is not a consistent depth. I cannot get them to call me back or take me seriously. I have shards of tile embedded in my ceiling from the installation. I recently had another company come in to fix a few things after I got no answer from Stinson's. I asked Stinson's to pay for the repairs which, of course, they did not. The workmanship was poor, the service was horrific, and I would advise anyone looking for a reputable company for tile to skip this organization and run the other way. I would not even give them one star if I could.
