This business commited false advertisement. It was advertised that my $110.00 entry fee included an event T-shirt. After participating in the event they told me that I didn't get a shirt since I didn't pre register. No where did it say that you needed to pre register in order to get a shirt. I was then told that I could purchase one for $20.00 even though I paid my entry fee.
The claim made is incorrect - Stix & Stones did not falsely advertise. The complaint claims that "No where did it say that you needed to pre register in order to get a shirt". This statement is not correct. I have attached several photos of our advertisements - please note that they are all dated well in advance of the event date. ( a 2nd response will be sent in order to attach the remaining documentation.
If we had not put a cap on the registration date that included shirts, we would have no way to know the quantity and sizes to order. As it is, 7 days prior to the event date is a very short window and does not allow much time for the company that is printing the T-Shirts for the event.
