Mr. [redacted] did come in and made me aware of the situation. I told him I would take a look at the vehicle. He informed me that he had already taken it to Toyota to have them look at it. He was demanding that we needed to reimburse him the money; or he would settle for a oil change. I...
told him, unfortunately, I could not do that. On the bottom of the invoice that Mr. [redacted] did sign it states that we reserve the right to examine any damage claims first. By having the dealership look at it first, he voided any warranty or reimbursement. He also mentioned the cabin air filter being damaged. I informed him we would have had to look at it first. If it was our mistake that damaged the cabin filter I would of corrected it, but being that we were unable to look at the items in question, I had to deny any responsibilities.
