[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Once the notice was fin***y produced, one can see that it does not comply with the conspicuous posting requirement under the Pennsylvania statute.This was explained in related Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] But then Revdex.com declined jurisdiction on August 16, wanting it wrapped into this # [redacted] (which, as noted by the General Manager, I suggested to MrH [redacted] could be closed upon provision of a copy of the notice needed as Exhibit in addressing the legal question).Unsure of whether you intend to now reach the issue on the merits, this week it has now been made the subject of a Complaint before the Pennsylvania State Attorney General.The issue has always been whether use of the ptin the unlabeled block text complies with the conspicuous posting requirement of the Pennsylvania statute (It doesn’t) See case law [redacted] I had hoped to avoid litigation by having the merits addressed — but the General Manager pretends the issue doesn’t exist -- as does [redacted] at [redacted] Trust State laws vary but a key purpose of the PA statute is notice to the consumer.The General Manager appears uninterested in giving notice to consumers that they can read -- and that is a bad business practice that should be the Revdex.com's mission to address I have continued to provide data points from the tracking device to MrArvell H [redacted] at Wyndham staff -- in case it will permit him to recover the keys and sensitive electronic information that was stolen Wyndham should do more to avoid identity theft -- to include providing the conspicuous notice required by the Innkeeper's Liability statute Publishing a notice so it can be noticed and read is a lot easier than maintaining computer security (See FTC litigation against Wyndham.) As per the guest's request we have emailed him an 1/by copy of the sign located on the back of each guest room door This sign includes the fire evacuation plan and the Innkeeper's Liability Statute We have also attached a copy to this letter Also attached is an email from the guest informing Arvel H*** our Director of Guest Services that the Revdex.com can close out the above referenced case.We completed full investigation of the concerns made by the guest at the time of the incident Based on the lock interrogation report, only guest keys were used to enter the suite Therefore, we do no have any evidence to support that a hotel staff member was responsible for missing items.If you have any questions please feel free to contact me either by email or my direct line.Regards,John K***General ManagerWyndham Philadelphia Historic District
