Patient was seen as a newborn in the hospital on 8-19, 8-and 8-21-The patient had an appointment on 8-for the day checkup, when patient arrived mom
presented that she has
Medi Cal secondary to her primary insurance which is a PPO plan that we are contracted withWhen we were told she had Medi Cal we unfortunately had to tell her we were not a contracted provider for Medi Cal therefore we could not see her and had to cancel the appointmentHer primary insurance applied an amount to her deductible for the hospital visits which she received statements for months with no response I then called her on 4-19-regarding the past due balance and was informed that she was "kicked out" of our office because she had medical and that she was not paying the balance we could send her to collections she didn't care

I think I need to get in contact with my primary for making any payments to you, so much wrong with this alreadyI did respond with my billing information in those months that I supposedly didnt respond to that you can proceed with but based on how I was treated I can't give you my moneyYour office should be ashamed and if this doesnt get resolved I feel I should contact the local media about how this doctor's office is so focused on collection that they would turn away a cash patient just by seeing a medi-cal card even after I said I didnt have to use itIT REALLY IS A SHAME SINCE THIS DOCTOR IS REALLY NICE AND READY FOR RETIREMENTI would have expected more
