Review: I took my recently purchased Mercedes C240 for exterior auto detail job. The detail shop burnt the paint on the hood and trunk lid. One burnt paint spot on the trunk lid and a larger burn-spot on the hood.Supervisor contacted and informed that the owner will call me within a week. Never got a call back. Tried to contact shop many times with run-around responses and no contact with owner. Called after a week and told the owner is out of the country. I made an insurance claim with my auto insurance company ([redacted]). The insurance company agent ([redacted], ph. #: ###-###-####)sent an adjuster and wrote an estimate for $1120 to fix the burnt paint. The cost to fix the hood and the trunk lid was $1160 per my insurance company ([redacted]). Insurance company contacted supervisor to pay my $500 deductible. Supervisor did not deny causing the damage but refused to fix the damage or pay the deductible. Supervisor informed my insurance agent that the owner is out of the country. I believe that the detail shop should pay the cost of repair $1160 or at least my deductible of $500 plus $160 of detail refund for a total of $660 which is half of the cost, which the detail shop even refused to pay half of the cost of damage.Desired Settlement: The 2 burnt spots could not be repaired due to size and severity. The hood and trunk lids need to be repainted. The cost of painting the hood and lid is $1160 per my insurance company ([redacted])adjuster is $1160. My cost of exterior detail $160 should be refunded.

Review: Originally had an oil change done that resulted in a cracked oil pan. Upon recovering the car, I got no paper work and was left without a vehicle for 5 days. After calling to share my concerns and frustrations I was met with the utmost disrespect which included cursing, name calling and threatening. Knowing that they cracked my oil pan they let me drive off, which is extremely dangerous. It wasn't until I had the car sit for several hours that I noticed a huge pile of oil in my driveway. The handling of the situation by management was disgraceful and with no integrity. I hung up feeling like I had been talked down upon and made to feel like I was a nuisance to the company. I was told I am not aloud on property and that my paperwork would be mailed to me, or that I can take them to court.Desired Settlement: I would like the original 106.00 I paid for my oil change.

Response:

The vehicle in question was brought to my business and received an oil change. According to my service techs there was an existing crack in the pan which they tried to fix. Obviously the fix they employed did not work and the vehicle was brought back with claims of an oil leak. When the vehicle was returned I asked my techs if they documented or verbally mentioned the crack to the customer. Neither of these was done so I took ownership of the problem.

After many days of trying to get the vehicle to my shop for repair we finally agreed to get the car on Tuesday. It was not delivered until that Friday. When it was dropped off we told them that it would take a few days since the mechanic was closed on Sunday and he was going to fit us in on short notice since the customer was a no show on their first appointment.

On Monday the vehicle was finished. The customer called both my establishments and my lube manager’s cell phone repeatedly. They were threatening my employees and demanding to talk to the owner. At this point I wasn’t about to give them my number so I was working with my employees and the mechanic to get the car picked up and paid for. After an hour or two I managed to get the vehicle picked up and delivered to the customer.

I was contacted later that week asking for a copy of the receipts for the work done on the vehicle. There were, again, multiple threatening calls to my employees demanding and threatening them asking for this paperwork. It was at this point that I asked the customer not to frequent my establishment any more and offered to mail the information she requested. After confirming the address I mailed the paperwork the next day.

Another week passes and my employees start receiving more threatening phone calls demanding the paperwork I had already sent and threats against them if they didn’t have me return their call immediately. I talked to the customer again the following day and got a fax number from her. I faxed them to her immediately.

This customer was rude both to me and my employees. Both her and her boyfriend harassed everyone in my employ for many days. At no point was she ever treated poorly much less cursed at. I will not mention the vulgar things said to me in the multiple conversations I’ve had with these people but their behavior confirms my original statement that they are not allowed on my premises.

This person would like her money back for the oil change that she originally paid for. While me may or may not have cracked her oil pan we rectified the situation. When an oil pan is changed the oil is replaced. She received this oil change and I do not feel that I owe her that money back.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:I still have not received any paperwork or receipts from this business my signature was never asked for or nor have I ever signed any documents for this business. Threats were never made to this establishment and no appointments ever made were a no show. Calls were made due to work conflicts when the car was to be repaired. The car never leaked and there was never a crack in the oil pan. This shop is not a repair shop why would they try to repair something they have no knowledge of fixing why would they send me off completing a faulty oil change leaking all Over my driveway that evening. I never authorized for any funds to be withdrawn from my account as well. I am a 29 year old healthcare provider that would never make any threats to a business I couldn't even imagine what so called threats I made. Bottom line my vehicle was damaged at this repair shop I have no proof of repairs or oil change from this business . I was charged for faulty work completed on my vehicle I have the manager 3 ways to get the documentation to me which I never received. Can he prove that no! Where is the fax confirmation email confirmation or receipt of mail sent out ?

Company states that they did replace the oil pan. Attached is a copy.

Review: I signed up for the unlimited wash program on the 1st of June. That day my car was not cleaned good at all. Bugs were all over the grill and windshield after they said it was ready to go. I cleaned them off myself at home. June 12th I went there the second time and asked are the bugs supposed to removed and they said yes and I explained the bad job last time. I got in and drove off after the wash to see the remains of all the bugs that I came in with still stuck on the glass. I was not happy to say the least, but the thing that really mad me mad was the fact that the tire dressing was not applied. I drove back and asked to stop the auto pay unlimited wash in which they said they would have the manager get back to me on the 14th. Manager did not call so today I called to verify that it was done. Long story short he was rude and refused to issue a credit back on half of the service I paid for even after them not providing the service the whole month and not preforming the required service that I did pay for. Called credit card company the did no problem. There are plenty of other places to go I will not go there again.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount of 14.99 which is the amount that the credit card company could not without contacting the vendor. They only canceled out the second half of a unused portion. I would like to be refunded for the the first half of the month that of the two times there both times were not done properly and I did not receive the product of tire dressing which was a extra cost to have done. I paid for a service I did not receive and was told by the manager he would not give it.

Response:

You called with a complaint about your wash which we promptly returned. You were requesting 100% of your money back which included washes that you had no complaint about. When I refused you became belligerent and abusive and hung up the phone.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: You must have me confused with someone else. First of all , I talked to a male manager and the service I paid for was not done correctly the first time or the second and I asked for a refund and was told no. On the second time they did not even put on the tire dressing which was 5 dollars more for that feature and both times bugs were still on my windshield and grill which I complained about before the second wash but did not help. So once was bad, second time worse and that deserved a full refund sorry but I don't have the time to keep bringing it back for a job not done right twice in a row. There was never even any apology or we will make it right offered. Your customer service has cost you my business, my wife's and all our friends and referrals. Pacific car wash sure did a great job the other day.

Review: Took my Mercedes Benz to Zoom Car Wash on 3/4 around 1:15pm at Quail Lakes in Stockton, CA and they damage the back bumper of the vehicle, [redacted] told me that one of his employee damage the back bumper of the vehicle and I should not call the police or my insurance because they will take of it. Mr. [redacted] wrote my name on a book, I paid for the wash of my vehicle and left very upset. When I got home my husband told me it was not just a cut on the bumper of the vehicle but the paint has crack, chip was done, bumper was push inside, a small dent near the letter and the lock was also damage, I called Zoom again on 3/5 spoke to [redacted] who said I needed to get 3 estimates, took Friday 3/6 off to do them, when back to Zoom car wash on Saturday 3/6 hand my 2 estimates to [redacted] and he has refused to pay for the damage done on this vehicle stating he has order the parts and he had another location where I can take the vehicle to have it fix, I got so upset and told him the damage done on the vehicle was cause by their employee and I should be compensated and I have the right to take my vehicle to my location and he should not tell me what location I should take my vehicle to have it repaired, he refused and keeps saying he will not pay for the damage, I called the stockton police non emergency and file a police report and file the claim with my insurance. Zoom Car Wash is negligent and repairs needs to be made, I should have not any problem from them refusing to pay for the damages cause by them.Desired Settlement: I would like them to be responsible for the damage cause to my Mercedes Benz and I want them to pay for the repairs as well for the inconvenience they have cause me for taking time off from work to get the estimates that [redacted] Store Manager has requested, this is causing me headaches and time off from work. I would like to report this so no-one can go over what I just did with Zoom Car Wash in Quail Lakes in Stockton. They don't want to pay for the repairs done on my vehicle.
