In regards to this complaint, all of the engines in question were ran and tested and mileage verified when we purchased the vehicles. The Customer changed  his choice of engines when he arrived stating the first one was too clean, he pulled spark plugs and checked thoroughly the one he...

chose. He called back after installing it and said that it was making a noise and wanted a replacement in which we gave. Then he said that one made some sort of noise semilar to the first engine. Then we brought him another engine that he did'nt like the looks of. The customer was aware at the time of purchase of our company warranty and return policy which states replacement warranty only and if the customer does not want a replacement for any reason when one is availeable ther is a 25% restocking fee. We would be happy to follow our policy and give the customer a refund when he returns the engine.

I will return the engine and make sure I won't get charge 25% stocking fee, and get full refund back, thank you

Review: I bought a transmission for 2001 BMW X5 from Stockton Auto Dismantlers on January 10 2014 for 1900 dollars. After installing transmission on my car I found out that this transmission is NOT GOOD ( transmission doesn't shift the way it supposes to and skipping gears ). After realizing the problem I called the owner of this business and ask him about returning the transmission back and getting my money, answer was negative about refund. Sales person [redacted] ask me for diagnostic or some kind of proof about transmission being bad, so I had to go spend more money and gas for diagnostics. I took my car to Central Valley Autohaus and being told ageing that transmission that I bought is bad and need to be replaced or repaired.Desired Settlement: All I want from them to give me my money back asap. But the owner of this business is refusing to do that.

Stockton Auto Dismantlers policy on defective parts is a 90 day warranty, if a problem arises during this waiTanty period Stockton Auto Dismantlers will exchange defective product. In this case Mr. [redacted] purchased a BMW Transmission, as stated in his complaint he had problems with the transmission, he was instructed by our sales representative that we had a exchange transmission available and to return the transmission and the replacement would be given.

Mr. [redacted] on February 7, 2014 received the exchange transmission on our invoice [redacted].

Stockton Auto Dismantlers to our knowledge has satisfied Mr. [redacted]'s complaint and request that our response be recorded that customer has been satisfied in a timely manner. Please find supporting documentation enclosed.

Review: I bought the Engine Assembly ( [redacted]) . Frist time I have to drove down to Stockton to pick up the product, after that I put in the car and I found out the engine knocking and make noise. I had call customer service and they change for me another engine , I put the new engine again and again same problem knocking and plus smoke come out, I call again to return and I need full refund but who ever on the phone told me to try one more time before he refund my money, I said ok I give another chance . This is the third time and before I put the engine in I take a look at the engine and I found out to much oil in the engine, I took picture and send to the company. Finally they refund money for me but not in full amount , this is not my fault is the company product have mistake, You guys been waste my time and I have trouble with my customer for late pick up the car. The policy is said 90 days warranty , and they charge me 25 percent for return the engine, this company is not good, they keep make me go back and forward and waste my time to much, and waste my client time .Is not fair for me and they don't have the right to making clients keep going back and forward, is not how they do customer service, If I don't get the good explain or hear anything from the company , I won't recommencement to anyone work with this company, I'm very upset because is effect my business, my clients angry with me and they don't trust me for the time . So I need the real professional person to give me the right explain, Thank you and look forward to hear from you.Desired Settlement: I need full amount refund.
