Review: when I purchased my jeep they offered me insurance warranty and I did purchase it to cover the jeep. it was to cover pretty much every thing bumper to bumper! but now that my jeep has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks and I have a $1000.00 bill coming to me, because the insurance that I bought through them will not cover my jeep's parts and labor because they sold me a (wreck) jeep that had physical damage already done and they sold me a insurance policy that wouldn't cover it! if they would have inspected it the right way before they sold me it they would have caught this, and then maybe I would have been aware of it and I might not of bought the jeep and I would not of bought the insurance since it wouldn't of covered it! the previous owner wreck it and never reported it and so I bought I wreck jeep and now im paying for it because stoltz didn't do there part by inspecting it and that should include the underneath of it. I did go to Toyota stoltz of dubois to see what they could do for me but all Ron did was a car fax saying it wasn't wreck!!! but I know from what the insurance company is telling me that it has physical damage done to it when I bought it and the extra insurance! they are out to make a buck they don't care about the customers!if they would have just tried to make it right by just offering to pay for the labor anything! instead the should me the car fax!Desired Settlement: stoltz should have to pay for my jeep to get fixed not me!!! they sold me the jeep that had the damage done to it! they should have better employees to inspect the cars!!

Review: May 2013 I purchased a vehicle at Stolts of St. Marys. Approximately two weeks later my car would not start at work. It was under a warranty not sure what it covered so called Stoltz and [redacted] came to look at it. Told me it was the battery, which the radio and all lights worked, so was confused, however, said he take it and bring it back with new battery. Not to whine but I single mom with son in college and was broke til next pay. Asked [redacted] how much, he said oh gee about 60.00, I said no can't I don't have sixty right now, and [redacted] said oh I will take care of it and you can pay me when you can. An hour or so I received a call from[redacted] saying my car was ready and it was 147.00. I aske why, he said he not responsible for what the service department charges. Well I was billed and first payment I sent 20.00 with note -20.00 of 147.00. I received second bill and now they are charging me 19% interest, so really hardly paid nothing of this bill. I was quoted $60.00, had I known wouldbe 147.00 would have called my boyfriend or another for help. I know this seems minor but to me I feel so mistreated and taken advantage of. thank you!Desired Settlement: I just want to pay no more than $40.00 without 19% interest as I paid twenty.

In response to the Issue that was raised by Ms. [redacted]. After doing research and going over the details of the sale what I found was a lack of communicfatlon between the sales person and the management. The whole situation started when the sales person misquoted a battery replacement to [redacted] and then kept that conversation secret from the managers. To the best of my knowledage Ms. [redacted] has paid the $ 40.00 and now the bill is paid In full, I have sent her a paid receipt clearing the balance of the bill. Hopefully this will bring an end to episode.

We at Stoltz Ford have always took pride in taking care of our customers but once in a blue moon one gets away from our control. We have put policies in place that should prevent a salesperson from quoting prices on service items. So I trust in the future they will never be a need to address situations like this again,
