Stone Creek Apartments

I lived at Stone Creek Apartments for 14 months and left the unit in excellent condition—cleaned thoroughly and well-maintained. However, I was surprised to be charged move-out fees for cleaning and painting simply because I didn’t meet their arbitrary 18-month minimum to avoid these charges. This policy feels unfair and misleading, especially when the property was returned in great shape.

Tenants should be informed clearly and upfront about these hidden fees. Charging for standard maintenance regardless of the unit’s condition or the tenant’s care is disappointing and feels like a way to profit off responsible renters. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you plan to stay longer than 18 months—and even then, read the fine print carefully.
