Stone Creek Kichen and Design is an innovative, honest, and responsible companyThe pricing is quite reasonable and their work is superb We were extremely satisfied with the entire process from concept, design, workmanship, cleanup, and finished product We highly recommend this company

Hello,
In response to *** & *** ***'s complaint: Both Stone Creek & our attorney have been asking the ***'s for their list of items they want us to fix for over month now & the only thing we've received were pictures with no description of what they're asking for.
In closing, Stone Creek would like to handle these issues with the ***'s

-After talking it over, since we are replacing the crown over by the fluted column... we are willing to re-do the column and include the glaze.  Are reasoning for this is simple, we want to finish this project and move on.  Stone Creek has tried and tried with this customer and this is one thing that will hopefully help.  We don't want this to drag along any further.
-There will be no refund.  We are still owed $972 and the [redacted]'s can keep that payment
-The baseboard issues they explained... we will address any issues with the installation.  Stone Creek will not replace the baseboard unless there's an installation error.
-Nail holes will be filled and kitchen entrance ways will be finished with trim
-Finally, we can put the [redacted]'s on the schedule once we have confirmation they accept.  We are still 3 1/2 weeks out from today.  As soon as there's confirmation, they will be put on the schedule immediately.  We will also be able to provide the Revdex.com with exact dates we will be there.
Add anything you think should be added, but I think this sums it up...
Thanks,
[redacted].

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Where is the disconnect? Where is the urgency to make this right? The complaint was filed on 3/12/14 and it took Stone Creek 16 days to respond. We responded 2 days later in great detail and it took them another 10 days to respond. What more is Stone Creek looking for? Stone Creek and their attorney have received a detailed list of what we are looking for them to do.  They were simply paid for a job in which they have not finished, they owe us a refund for the cabinets in which they were late on delivering (per the contract), and they need to make repairs to their install job. They have already agreed in writing to redo the crown molding in which they installed in our home. Yet they fail to execute.  We have provided all the details in our response on 3/30/14 - what more are they looking for?  How much clearer can we possible be?  They responded on 3/28/14 that they would be out to our home in 2.5 weeks to do the repairs. Yet, the owner of Stone Creek has not reached out to us with a date and time.  We have informed their lawyer from day one that we will make the home accessible for the repairs and install to be finished, as we have always done.  If they claim to the Revdex.com that they will be out in 2.5 weeks to make repairs, but now say they are not sure what repairs need to be done because they need a detailed list - are they again lying?   At this point, we are beyond frustrated with Stone Creek and their associates.  This has always been a game to them and they continue to hold up other projects in our home by dragging their feet.  We are simply tired of the delay to get our project finished - one in which they have been paid to do.  Stone Creek has been aware of the crown issue for some time and has had plenty of time to get that trim work ordered and painted/glazed.  2.5 weeks is approaching so maybe they can inform us as to when they plan on delivering the goods in which we paid for? They also know that we are not happy with their baseboard install around the kitchen (they used different size baseboard to finish the rest of the kitchen and have left large gaps) and we paid for a wrap in our kitchen to be glazed to match the custom cabinets - they failed to have the wrap glazed.  They are aware of the money we spent to have all entrance ways trimmed out and again they continue to drag their feet on the install. We feel we have provided plenty of information to Stone Creek.  It is time for them to take action on our project.  Also, Stone Creek has been made aware through their attorney and through the owner, that Steve Simpson is to have no further communications with our family nor with this project. He's the designer for Stone Creek and no additional design work is necessary.  There has been plenty of time for Stone Creek to make this project right.  We have given them many chances.  If they are looking to work with us, why does this continue to be a problem to finish?  The only one holding up the job is them.

[redacted] & [redacted]

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
On March 1, 2013 we entered into agreement with Stone Creek Custom Kitchens and Design.
On April 30, 2013 both parties signed two change orders.
The estimated start date of the project was 6-8 weeks and the estimated completion was 1 week for install.  Perhaps Stone Creek should be more clear to their customers... is it a week's worth of work to install or a week in which is spread out over the course of a few months? It is March 30, 2014 and we still don't have a completed project. They have pieced together the project and continue to make us last on their list of priorities. The timeline of events speaks for itself.
December 5, 2013:  Delivery/Install of base cabinets
December 11, 2013:  Delivery/Install of wall cabinets
January 6 or 7, 2014 (double checking date): Instillation of some trim work
January 12, 2014:  The owner, [redacted], informed us that he would order the crown molding that matches the cabinets rather than using something different.  A decision that Stone Creek made without our consent and without a change order.  He informed us that the crown molding would take  "a week or two plus a couple of days to finish."  On this date, **. [redacted] also informed us that his friend, [redacted], would be coming to do some trim work and that he would bring one utensil draw and two divider drawers.  To date we still have not been provided these items in which we paid Stone Creek for.
January 16, 2014: Instillation of some baseboard and some trim. **. [redacted]'s friend, [redacted], did not come with the items mentioned above.
February 8, 2014: [redacted] informed us that he would be out "Thursday Friday of next week to finish up" and informed that we would not be getting the matching crown as previously agreed.  We were very upset our project was put on hold AGAIN and we waited ANOTHER month for no reason.  We asked what was the sense in telling us something that he had no intentions on following through with.  We were promised that it would look amazing.  Desperate to get this project complete we felt we had no other choice as they were not budging.  And at this point we could not afford to get a lawyer involved.
February 19, 2014:  The crown molding in which Stone Creek installed was not of the same quality as the crown molding around the cabinets nor is it what we paid for.  It is different in size, material and quality.   Stone Creek also installed a "wrap" around a pole that is in our kitchen.  The wrap is not glazed per the contract.  Per the contract, we paid for everything to be glazed.  In our change order in which we signed on April 30, 2013, we paid upfront for the trim out of all  complete openings in the kitchen.  This remains undone.  They didn't attach the dishwasher to the cabinets.  *They recently emailed stating that they never attach the dishwasher to the cabinets and that's our responsibility, but that they will do it when they return to do the remainder of the work.  We paid $4,000 for our kitchen install.  When we first reviewed the contract with Steve Simpson back in March 1, 2013 he explained what that price included.  They continue to state that these items are not in the written contract, but I have supporting emails where those items were discussed and stated that they were covered.  At this point, we don't wish to pursue that aspect of the contract. But we think it is important so future customers do not get taken advantage of by Stone Creek and their associates.  We are requesting that they attach the dishwasher to the cabinets.
February 20, 2014:  Called **. [redacted] - he did not return our phone call.
February 25-26, 2014: We sent an email to Stone Creek and cc'd **. [redacted]. There was discussion for two days.
February 27, 2014: We sent an email to **. [redacted] wishing to have items corrected.
February 28, 2014: **. [redacted] informed us that his clients were reviewing and would get back to us.
March 6, 2014: 6 DAYS LATER we emailed **. [redacted].  We simply stated that we have waited long enough for a response.
March 12, 2014: Filed complaint with Revdex.com after waiting ANOTHER 6 days with no response.
March 12, 2014 @ 5:34 p.m.: 6 DAYS LATER **. [redacted] stated, "I have a call scheduled with them.  I will get back to you in short order."
March 13, 2014: **. [redacted] informed us that he knew we filed a complaint with Revdex.com.  His email stated, "As such, if you wish to proceed independent of working with Stone Creek, then do so.  If, though, you wish Stone Creek to accommodate your request that they come out to your house, which they are willing to do as I have stated, then you must first confirm that you had contact as I have described above and immediately cease and desist that contact.  Moreover, you must withdraw your comments to the Revdex.com."
There have been emails back and forth, but still not getting us very far.  And is just causing more aggravation.
March 28, 2014: Stone Creek is now saying that they will be here in 2.5 weeks to address our problems. Again, another delay.  They also stated to Revdex.com that [redacted] Handmade [redacted] will be here in 3 weeks.  HOWEVER, I have two emails from Stone Creek and their lawyer.  One states that **. [redacted] the owner of [redacted] is taking over the project and then another email stating that Stone Creek can not reach **. [redacted].  Which one is it?
At this point we think it is best that Stone Creek provide us with a list of items that they plan on fixing and that they give us a timeline as to when this project will be complete.
We have also informed their lawyer of a refund that is due to us.  **. [redacted] has failed to respond to that inquiry.  We are not certain if the Revdex.com can help with this or if we will need to seek legal action against Stone Creek.
Stone Creek fails to disclose to the Revdex.com that their lawyer stipulated that we needed to remove our complaint.  We informed him we would not be removing our complaint until the work was done and to customer satisfaction.  We gave his clients ample time to finish our project and plenty of time to address our concerns.  We can no longer trust their word.  We have two contracts in place one in which was supposed to protect our rights as the consumer.
We are extremely frustrated, disappointed, and are ready to move on with our lives.  We are taken aback that they continue to put this work off.  We have other projects that can not be done until they are finished.  They know this as we have informed them in writing.  We had a lawyer who intervened when we first had problems with Stone Creek.  That began to get costly and we had hoped that Stone Creek and their legal representation was on track for making right on this project.  Especially after having an amended contract drawn up between both parties.
It is imperative that the Revdex.com know that our contract agreement(s) have always been signed between us (the [redacted]'s) and Stone Creek.  We do not have a binding contract with [redacted] Inc.  Stone Creek's contract reads that they will design, build, and install our kitchen.  It wasn't until we ran into problems with the cabinets and lawyers got involved that we found out that there was a third party hired to build our cabinets.  **. [redacted], the man who built our cabinets was hired and contracted by Stone Creek - not us.  We have been in contact with **. [redacted] because Stone Creek passed us off to him.  He's a nice gentleman, but our agreement is not with him.
The [redacted]'s have all supporting documentation necessary to support our claim against Stone Creek.  Stone Creek has not made every attempt to resolve their project as they want Revdex.com to believe they have.  Instead they continue to add stress to our lives by not finishing a job in which they were paid to do.  The constant back and forth with them and their lawyer has become taxing.  They have a very detailed list as to what they have failed to provide us and they have a detailed list of problems that we are facing.
There has never been an urgency with our install or our project as we are now going into the 13th month since we hired Stone Creek.  Stone Creek's reply is that they will be scheduling a time to complete within the next 2.5 weeks.  Why another 2.5 weeks?  We continue to be placed on the back burner.
They also stated that **. [redacted] will be out in 3 weeks.  I have two emails from their lawyer...
March 24, 2014: "My clients have spoken at length with [redacted] and they understand that you have arranged with him to come to your house and address any outstanding issues.  My clients have been trying in earnest to have your issues addressed, but as it appears that [redacted] is already addressing them, they will not interfere.  If that is not the case, or if you would like to have my clients discuss this further with George, please let me know."  We responded that was never the case and that **. [redacted] has always agreed to come down to do touchups of the cabinets, but that he was never doing anything with the install or addressing the issues in which we present.
March 26, 2014: "My clients tried repeatedly to contract [redacted] to no avail.  Rather than wait for him, they asked that you send me a list of the things you want done and they will be down to your house promptly to do them."
Stone Creek presents that they will be here in 2.5 weeks.  That's NOT promptly.
And how can they say that **. [redacted] will be down to address any cabinet touchups when their lawyer just said they can't reach him. This is the problem we have had from day one with Stone Creek. It is always one lie after the next and chance after chance with them.
If they can't get here this week to finish our project, then we would like a refund on the outstanding items.  We have waited long enough and have been through enough with Stone Creek.
Regards,
[redacted] & [redacted]

Review: We entered into a contract with Stone Creek Custom Kitchens and Design on March 3, 2013 and have paid in full for product and services that they have not provided. We have made our complaint clear to them and have asked that they provide the product in which we paid for and to also install the product in which we paid for. They continue to ignore our request. This company has continued to give our family the run around. A project that should have been complete within 8-10 weeks from the date of entering into our agreement is now a year overdue. We also entered into an amended contract with them, and they now owe us money for providing the good of service beyond the deadline in which they set. We have not demanded a refund because we are afraid to do so because they have our money for a product and services in which they continue to hold in their procession. They also installed a product in which we are very unhappy with and is of poor quality. Pictures can be provided for further review. We have made every attempt to resolve this with them, but are to the point that we need help doing so.Desired Settlement: We are asking that they repair all work that was installed. We ask that they provide us with product in which we paid for and also paid to have them install - this is the product in which they have not delivered to our home. And we are asking that they refund $2,000 per our amended contract agreement for being late on delivering the goods in which we paid for in full.
