Review: An employee of Stone Earth and Water came to my house to do an estimate on work to be done in the yard. The employee showed up in the company vehicle with clearly displayed the company's logo and name. The employee spoke freely of his company being at the [redacted] this weekend. The employee did some measurements and before he left, gave me an estimate. Later that afternoon (2/6/14) I gave him the go ahead to do the work. I had researched the company and felt confident in their abilities to make me happy with the service. On 2/7/14, the employee showed up late to do the work. He did not knock on the door to announce himself, he simply let himself and two other males in the backyard of my home and immediately started destroying the pool. My husband discussed the service with the employee and I even made a reference to the company he worked for. The employee took ONLY the scrap metal out of the yard, left a gaping hole in the yard, and a huge pile of trash on my grass. On 2/8/14 the employee was supposed to have someone removing my pine tree in the front yard in the morning. The employee was supposed to come out in the afternoon with an HVAC guy to unhook the air condition (it needs to be raised up for this service). I had contact only to be told everything was ok and that the employee was at sporting events for his children. At this point, I contacted the company's office line and received no answer. I contacted both cell phones ([redacted]) and was able to reach one of them (another called me while I was on the phone with the first). He admitted that the employee told him about me, though didn't give my name. He admitted that he told him to go take some measurements at the house. He informed me that the employee was supposed to make an appointment for next week. Given this information, I am left to believe that the company "partner" knew that the employee was representing his company at my home. The "partner" then informed me that he would be contacting the police, and would be firing the employee and picking up his truck. He seemed very upset. He also took down my address and said he was going to put it in his [redacted] so he could come out and see the mess and see the job I wanted done. He informed us he was leaving the [redacted] at 7pm and would come down then. At 8:30pm we contacted Stone, Earth and Water and spoke to the "partner". He informed me he was not coming out, he would not honor the agreement made, and repeated informed me that this guy was going to be fired (not currently fired), and what he (partner) majored in and what his degrees were. He repeated unnecessary information anywhere from 6-10 times, such as his degrees, where he was currently sitting, that he called the police, etc. He was not pleasant to speak to and would not listen to the concerns of a customer, only telling me to see if from his point of view.Desired Settlement: I want the work promised during the representation of his company at the price given to me.
