Review: The security gates located next to apartment have been damaged and easily accessible to anybody who wants to enter the grounds, including man made drug dealers, thieves, homeless sleeping in the laundry rooms and outside other people's apartments, digging through people's trash and regurgitating in front of residents doors. Tenants have been complaining about this for years, including the fact that I contacted corporate, maintenance and the office to have this gate repaired. Two security gates at this moment has had sticks stuck inside the doors and one of them had the lock filed down so anybody could access it at anytime. Two people from maintenance came days later after they said they were going to contract the work out and have the gate replaced; maintenance did not fix the gate and it's easily pushed or pulled open without needing the key. Maintenance said when I first moved in that my screen door would be repaired and still waiting on that to be fixed among other issues. Tenants are made to pay $75.00 if they lose their key; why is this allowed when people can come in and do whatever they want, whenever they want? The security and well being of the tenants in this complex is in jeopardy and someone needs to do something about it.The grounds keeping company that is hired to mow the grass and blow the leaves in this complex are doing a terrible job. They mow the grass when it's wet and continue to pile the dead cut or wet grass on top of each other leaving the lawn to look like a mess. The leaf blowers blow the leaves, mud and dirt up into the apartment areas causing more mess than cleanliness.Desired Settlement: Replacement of two gates that are currently being disabled. Remove the ability on the front gate to enter the complex by security code and only allow tenants who live here open the gate with the gate opener on the key chain that you get when you pay to live here or change the codes on a monthly basis and mail them out every two weeks. Replacement of the grounds-keeping company. Replacement of the maintenance people. Call an all Tenant meeting and ask them what they feel.
