Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  We are waiting because the work has not been completed. They are suppose to arrive tomorrow and complete the work. We have an approximate time. Once the work is done then we will consider this matter done and over with.

We are dealing directly with the home owner.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
No one was at home when the cement was poured. I had called from my doctors office because the men did not know what they were doing. They asked me where the slab was suppose to go.  I had asked the contractor Stone Craft Builders to contact Tuff Shed to get the measurements. Tuff Shed Management confirmed they had gotten a call from Fredrico [redacted]. Fredrico said the measurements came directly from Tuff Shed. When Tuff Shed management confronted him, he stated he never said he got the measurements from them to the manager of Tuff Shed. Yes they did send out the wrong measurement on an estimate sheet. But they were asked to get the size of the slab and the instructions for where it needed to be poured from Tuff Shed who was going to build the shed. This did not happen. Second no one ever called and stated that the slab was in a public utilities right of way. I called their office before the cement was poured. Fredrico stated he talked to my son. My son was in school . So how did this happen? Fredrico tried to blame my son but my son was amendment that he never talked to Fredrico.  Fredrico had the site drawing because he needed this to get a building permit from the City. He knew the slab should not be poured in the area where it went. Second Fredrico stated that he never saw any drawings of the shed. Why didn't he ask? The drawings would have clearly shown that the shed was being placed right up next to an electric box that would prevent the doors from opening. Third, Stonecraft stated I refused to pay them $400 for the slab. I asked Fredrico to call me back and left me number and never got a call back. When I attempted to talk to him I was told he was in a meeting. I have not refused to pay anything, I just want a correct slab poured and the wrong slab removed from the property. Nothing can legally be built where the slab is. If it is built there it could be forced to be torn down. Fredrico knew this but did not share this information until after the slab was poured. We did pay for the concrete work on the patio and once this is corrected we will be glad to pay for a correct slab in an area not located within the public utilities right of way.  Why would I build a $2,000 + shed in a place where it could be torn down?
Regards,
[redacted]

Stonecraft Builder has
attempted to try to resolve this matter directly with [redacted]. The forms
were set for two days prior to pouring the concrete as we were waiting for...

an
inspection. [redacted], within the two days at any time, could have walked
outside and asked us to move the concrete framing or have measured the form if
he believed the size was wrong. [redacted] is stating that the “Tuff Shed”
foundation was pour with the wrong size, but on the estimate we provided him on
August 10th in writing, three weeks prior to pouring the concrete, it stated 6ft
by 8ft. There was a person left in charge by [redacted], possibly [redacted]
[redacted]’s son, of the home while we were working, and they were notified the hazards
of putting the small concrete slab in the location it was placed, but we were
told to place it there anyways. The person [redacted] left at home got in
contact with our office the day the concrete was pour, 8/28/15, and stated
everything was fine, and the call was followed up later in the afternoon by [redacted]
[redacted] wanting to know when the foundation form would be removed, and that
there was splatter over the siding on the exterior wall that needed to be
cleaned. [redacted] was informed that the form would be removed the
following day, 8/29/15, and the siding cleaned, which both were done. That day,
[redacted] did not bring up any concerns or further issues. [redacted] did
not have said “Tuff Shed” on the property where we could have measured, nor any
drawings, nor diagrams. If [redacted] had previously provided us with any
type of drawing for the “Tuff Shed” he purchased with the proper dimensions, we
would have gladly priced him accordingly and placed the concrete wherever he
wanted. We have offered in the past to split half of the cost to remove and re-pour
the foundation, but [redacted] has not only refused to pay the original
additional $400, but has also refused to split the cost.
