Review: STONECREST POINTE APARTMENTS HAS HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. THE ONSITE MANAGER "[redacted]" HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS, MANIPULATIVE AND LIKES TO INTIMIDATE TENANTS INSTEAD OF USING COMMUNICATION SKILLS. A EXAMPLE OF POOR SERVICE MY FRIEND CAME TO DROP OFF MY CHILDREN AND PARKED IN FRONT OF A GARAGE BECAUSE SHE WAS NOT GOING TO STAY. MANAGEMENT DECIDES TO CALL ME AT WORK TO TELL ME MY VISITORS ARE BLOCKING THE GARAGE AND THAT "NORMAL PEOPLE WOULD PARK IN A VISITOR PARKING." THERE IS A DIFFERENT WAY TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS AND WHY WOULD YOU BOTHER A TENANT AT WORK OVER SOMETHING THAT IS OUT OF THEIR CONTROL AS THEY ARE NOT ON THE PROPERTY. THERE ARE MANY MORE EXAMPLES BUT I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH SPACE. SHE WILL SAY ONE THING AND NEXT MONTH CHANGE THE RULES AND MAKE YOU FEEL AS IF YOU ARE MAKING THINGS UP. EVERY TENANT NEEDS TO SPEAK TO THEIR MANAGER REGARDING ISSUES OF RENT, REPAIRS, ETC, BUT SHE IS SO UNAPPROACHABLE. I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING SPOKEN DOWN TO JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE GIVING HER A LITTLE EXTRA PAPERWORK THAT HAS TO BE DONE. THERE ARE OTHER TENANTS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THE HORRIBLE ATTITUDE FROM THE MANAGER BUT CHOOSE TO STAY QUIET. I AM UNFAIRLY BEING EVICTED FROM THIS PROPERTY DUE TO HER POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS. IF MANAGEMENT IS WILLING TO OFFER A COURTESY PAY PROGRAM TO ALL TENANTS THEY CANNOT USE IT AGAINST US WHEN IT DOES NOT BENEFIT THEM ANYMORE. THEY NEED TO COMMUNICATE THE RULES CLEARLY AND NOT CHANGE THE TERMS EVERY MONTH AND THEN EVICT US ON LATE PAY BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING IN WRITING. I FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT [redacted] NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND TEACH HER HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT. ALSO, FOR THE UNNECESSARY EVICTION SHE FILED AGAINST ME ON THE TERMS OF PAYING LATE. EVERYONE PAYS LATE!!!Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE [redacted] TO TREAT CURRENT AND FUTURE TENANTS WITH RESPECT. I WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE FOR HER TO DEDUCT ALL UNNECESSARY ATTORNEY, COURT FEES AND I WILL JUST PAY OWED RENT AND RELINQUISH PROPERTY.

Generally when a resident is not following house rules where themanager of the complex has to contact the resident, the resident is not happy withhaving to correct the actions warranting the contact. Unfortunately this is humannature when one is being corrected and being asked to take care of the deficiency.All house rules are clearly stated and all residents sign and receive a written copyfor their reference. All house rules are enforced with all resident unilaterally.California Civil Code is very clear that tenants cannot withhold rent for anyreason. In this case, the resident’s rent was fully due June 15paid by July 6filed. Although we do have a leniency policy to allow resident having difficultyadditional time to pay rent, rent ultimately must be paid. This policy is adhered tofor all residents.This clearly seems to be a case of a disgruntled resident retaliating due to theUnlawful Detainer filed against them for non­payment of rent and trying to getout of paying the legal fees associated with the Unlawful Detainer.I appreciate your time in reviewing this matter.
