Review: Spent about $30,000 total in purchase of Polaris UTVs. Including trade-ins. Traded in my 2011 Polaris for $6K for a new 2013 costing $13K. 2011 had an extended warranty of 5 years with a 3rd party (we were unware) paid $500 for 5 years expiring in 2016. I was not informed untl after the trade in and did my own research that my warranty is prorated and can be reimbursed for unused portion. When questioned it was stated too late since took it upon themselves to place remaining warranty with the resale of the cart I traded. I feel they owe atleast $300 for 3 years remaining.Desired Settlement: Refund me for unused portion - even though they are connected to 3rd party for warranty. They set it all up and activated it.

I am rejecting this response because: At NO time during the transaction of trade in was it metioned we received $6K because of WARRANTY still in effect nor was it ever mentioned Our warranty had a remaining 3 years. I personally had to research warranty guidelines and when I questioned Stonehams the response was sorry, too late it was resold with OUR warranty. Their response is 100% unacceptable as stated in warranty guidelines.
FAIL-SAFE warranty protectioin
TRANSFER PROVISION: This Contract applies only to You and the product/equipment submitted upon the activation of your Service Contract. The coverage provided by your Service Contract may be transferred to the new equipment owner in the event of sale of the equipment while this Service Contract is still in force. The Transfer will be allowed only upon receipt within 30 days of change of ownership of the equipment, a completed Application for Transfer, proof of required maintenance as indicated above, a copy of the bill of sale and a $30.00 transfer fee.
