Gulliford pumped our septic for us and found that we had a part that needed to be replacedThey had quoted us at $to do the work and then gave us a bill for $that we had to pay before they leftWe called another company to come out the next morning to replace the pump in our septic system that had broken and they stated that the tanks that they had told us were pumped the night before were totally full and had not been pumped We called Gulliford to ask them why this would be and they stated that the owner would call back later that day to discuss the issue The own called a week later at which time we also told him that the bill stated that the technician had pumped out gallons but our system only holds a total of gallons The own said he would look into it and call back later but we would not be charged until we talked about it again Another week goes by and we never hear back, but someone does call to tell us that they were unable to charge our credit card for the service So we call back again We tell them that we aren’t supposed to be charged yet and the owner was going to call us and talk about the seemingly dishonest work that had been done Another few days pass and the technician calls and says that he was told we want to talk to him We tell him again all the stuff that has happened and he starts talking down to my husband and being very rude After this phone call we still have never talked to the owner again and there are no answers as to why the tank was not actually pumped, we were charged $more than we were quoted, and the invoice states that more was pumped out then actually was even possibleI’m assuming they charge by the gallon
