Stonehouse Construction

Review: Services were contracted with Stonehouse Construction and a formal contract signed to install a 24 X 12 deck of pre-treated lumber along with fencing around the pool back in January 2015. A stairway leading up to the house was also constructed. After the project was completed, several repairs were required. The boards began to warp, bolts were inserted and showing, boards became unlevel and created a tripping hazard. [redacted] at Stonehouse was called repeatedly every month. We were told the crew would be out to do the repairs, but no repairs were ever completed. The fence was installed improperly which created a rupture of the sprinkler system and the water source for the outside spiket. Repeated calls have been made to get the repairs completed. Emails have been sent and now we have prepared a warrant in debt. Our phone calls are not being returned (now it's October - 10 months later), emails aren't being replied to. Our latest call reveals the voicemail box is full and cannot accept any messages. The contract we signed revealed all repairs would be completed and fixed, but this is not the case. The holes that were dug for the deck footings are still exposed and have never been cemented / landscaped back to the original smooth surface. Repairs must be completed. We also contracted to have our bathroom remodeled, but after this disaster, we would rather not deal with this contractor.Desired Settlement: I would like to hire a reputable company to make the repairs and have Stonehouse Construction pay the bill to fix all the lose boards, exposed bolts, warped boards, cement the fittings, repair the sprinkler system and waterline.

I have received a call from Stonehouse Construction in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. While Mr. [redacted] has indicated he needed at least 10 days to arrange to come out and correct the items that were a problem, we have yet to see or hear from him since. I will give Mr. [redacted] until 01/08/2016 to make good on the promised repairs. I do not wish to close this file until he does actually come out, make the repairs to our satisfaction, and resolve this matter. Regards,
