This complex is horribleFirst, they wouldn't let me see my apartment prior to moving inWhen I got my keys, and saw the place, it was designed for someone with a disabilityWhen I complained about that, they basically said oh well, deal with itNext, they aren't honest about what you pay for rent they manipulate you into signing the lease thinking your monthly rent is one price, but in actuality, it's a different price altogether - in other words, the price you are quoted and what is listed on the lease when you sign it, is not what you actually pay They fail to tell you, before signing the lease, that they tack on miscellaneous charges and fees which you have to pay on the first in addition to the rentYou end up paying an extra $in addition to your rentIf you don't pay all of it, they will start eviction proceedings after the 5th of the month and a 10% late fee to bootIf you have a maintenance issue, they are slow about resolving itFor example, when I had a spider and ant infestation three weeks after moving into my apartment, it took the rental office months to send someone out to fix the issueIt wasn't until I threatened to withhold my rent until they did something about it, is when they finally came and addressed the issueBut even then, they didn't fix the infestationI had to go out and buy my own insect repellent and spray my apartment myself Another instance was when the maintenance people come into your apartment without prior noticeBy law a tenant is supposed to get 24hours noticeMy brand new chair was ruined because a maintenance guy came into my place without my knowledge and tore the fabric in my chairAlthough the property manager reimbursed me for the chair, the fact that these people feel they can enter my apartment whenever they want to does not sit well with me If you run into a financial mishap, which happened to me back in November, and you inform these people of the situation, and tell these people that the rent will be late but will be paid before the end of the month, THEY WILL STILL proceed to evict you and charge you an court fee in addition to the 10% late feeThe last and latest incident, was three weeks ago, my neighbors above me turned in their AC Saturday, and according to the maintenance guy, it was frozen, something burst from their unit, and flooded down into my apartment and ruined my most of my living room property, my son's room, and the bathroomI wrote the property manager an email and demanded I get some type of discount off my rent for the inconvenience and trama thus caused me ad my son, the response I got was she wasn't doing that, and didn't careThat I need to contact my insurance company (which I did already), and they expect the rent to be paid on time despite the financial sacrifice this put me inThen they hired these contractors come into my place and get up the water that flooded everywhereThese people were not professionalsThey ruined more stuff, broke my son's bookshelf, not to mention the didn't replace the carpetAfter having four air blowers run around the clock for three days (and mind you they put these blowers under the damaged carpet), they damaged my son's bed, the front of my couch, because the blowers were blowing the drenched carpet up on my and my son's furniture which created more water damage to my thingsAnd instead of replacing the carpet, they just replaced the paddingMy house smells of moldMy son has asthma due to allergies, and mold is one of themWe didn't have heat for two days because my heat/AC unit was damaged from the water This is an awful place to liveThe rental property does not acomodate their tenantsThey only care about getting their money every month no matter what condition we are living under Horrible horrible place!

This complex is horrible. First, they wouldn't let me see my apartment prior to moving in. When I got my keys, and saw the place, it was designed for someone with a disability. When I complained about that, they basically said oh well, deal with it. Next, they aren't honest about what you pay for rent they manipulate you into signing the lease thinking your monthly rent is one price, but in actuality, it's a different price altogether - in other words, the price you are quoted and what is listed on the lease when you sign it, is not what you actually pay. They fail to tell you, before signing the lease, that they tack on miscellaneous charges and fees which you have to pay on the first in addition to the rent. You end up paying an extra $100 in addition to your rent. If you don't pay all of it, they will start eviction proceedings after the 5th of the month and a 10% late fee to boot. If you have a maintenance issue, they are slow about resolving it. For example, when I had a spider and ant infestation three weeks after moving into my apartment, it took the rental office 1.5 months to send someone out to fix the issue. It wasn't until I threatened to withhold my rent until they did something about it, is when they finally came and addressed the issue. But even then, they didn't fix the infestation. I had to go out and buy my own insect repellent and spray my apartment myself. Another instance was when the maintenance people come into your apartment without prior notice. By law a tenant is supposed to get 24hours notice. My brand new chair was ruined because a maintenance guy came into my place without my knowledge and tore the fabric in my chair. Although the property manager reimbursed me for the chair, the fact that these people feel they can enter my apartment whenever they want to does not sit well with me. If you run into a financial mishap, which happened to me back in November, and you inform these people of the situation, and tell these people that the rent will be late but will be paid before the end of the month, THEY WILL STILL proceed to evict you and charge you an court fee in addition to the 10% late fee. The last and latest incident, was three weeks ago, my neighbors above me turned in their AC Saturday, and according to the maintenance guy, it was frozen, something burst from their unit, and flooded down into my apartment and ruined my most of my living room property, my son's room, and the bathroom. I wrote the property manager an email and demanded I get some type of discount off my rent for the inconvenience and trama thus caused me ad my son, the response I got was she wasn't doing that, and didn't care. That I need to contact my insurance company (which I did already), and they expect the rent to be paid on time despite the financial sacrifice this put me in. Then they hired these contractors come into my place and get up the water that flooded everywhere. These people were not professionals. They ruined more stuff, broke my son's bookshelf, not to mention the didn't replace the carpet. After having four air blowers run around the clock for three days (and mind you they put these blowers under the damaged carpet), they damaged my son's bed, the front of my couch, because the blowers were blowing the drenched carpet up on my and my son's furniture which created more water damage to my things. And instead of replacing the carpet, they just replaced the padding. My house smells of mold. My son has asthma due to allergies, and mold is one of them. We didn't have heat for two days because my heat/AC unit was damaged from the water. This is an awful place to live. The rental property does not acomodate their tenants. They only care about getting their money every month no matter what condition we are living under. Horrible horrible place!
