A light in my car was coming on lighting up "brake". My friend put brake fluid in my car and said that I should get my brake pads checked. I took the car to Tuffy and was told that I needed pads and rotors both front and back and it would cost $672. I called around and found the same service for $450 so picked up my car. In the meantime I told my neighbor who set up an appt. for me with his mechanic. His mechanic looked at the car and asked it it was a joke. The rotors are fine, the pads are fine. He charged $5 for looking at the car.
