As of Monday February 10th I had not heard back from Stoneworks, neither had Contact 6, Channel 3, Consumer Complaint or you.On Tuesday February 11th I picked up a friend and we drove out to their place of business*** happened to be there so I asked her just what kind of business that she is running that she does not return calls or letters She claims that she has not heard from any of the above except from me Which was a lie Contact told me they had sent her a letter, Channel said that they called a couple of times and left messages as well as you and consumer complaint had sent letters She mentioned that my sink was there so I told her that I would take it at this time and for her to let me know when she would be sending someone down to install it She checked her schedule and said that she would have someone to my house on Thursday February 13th at 9:AM I told her that life was choices and that if no one showed upI would assume that she wanted to be on Channel TV She assured me that someone would definitely be to my home I had her sign and date a letter stating that fact and she stated that because it was a defective sink from Kohler it would be a no charge to me for the sink and work doneShe called that to make sure that I was home and told me that an ex-employee of hers was coming to install the new sink He showed on time and did a great job removing the defective sink and reinstalling the new one This employee left them four years ago and now is in business for himself He was very pleasant and does good work I will consider using him for any work that I might need in the futureI am sure that she is still not returning calls and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyoneThanking you for your response to my complaint, I very much appreciate you looking into this for meSincerely, [redacted]

I personally visited this business and told her life has choices. She can either send someone to my home to install a new sink to replace the factory defective one or her other choice would be to be on Contact as I had been in contact with them. She chose to send someone here to install a new sink. ***

Review: I purchased a granite counter top and undermount white sink from this company in April of 2011 and paid $500 in full on their invoice #[redacted] at time of installation on ck#[redacted].In December of 2014 I noticed that there was a crack in the sink and called Stoneworks to see what the cost would be to get this sink replaced with a new one. I talked with [redacted], owner who told me that the sink was defective from the manufacturer and that there would NOT be a charge for replacing the defective one. I was thrilled to hear this. She said that they were very busy at this time and that I should contact them after the first of the year.I started called this company the week of January 5th leaving a message on her phone as they would never answer the phone. I never received a call back. On January 8th I called their number from my cell phone and left a message that I was interested in getting a quote for my kitchen counter top, within 10 minutes of this call I received a call back from [redacted] and set up a date of January 13th at 2:30 PM to come to my house to measure for a quote. While here I mentioned and showed her the bathroom sink that she had promised to replace after the first of the year. She said that she thought that her husband could replace the sink on Monday or Tuesday of the following week and she would call me back to confirm the day and time along with a quote for my kitchen countertop. Wednesday came with no call, Thursday came with no call so on Friday I called and left a message to call me. No call. Monday I again called and left a message, Tuesday January 20th. I called Kohler Company and discussed with them my problem and they emailed me a letter authorizing a new sink. I asked them to send Stoneworks a copy of this letter. I again called Stoneworks and this time [redacted] answered the phone and said she was at lunch and promised to call me back in an hour to set up an appointment to have my sink installed. To date I have not heard from her.Desired Settlement: Replace defective sink and have new sink reinstalled correctly

This company was unorganized. They showed up a day later than expected, and over an hour late. I had to contact them to find out if they were coming or if they forgot. They were unable to get the exact granite that we wanted. They wiped down the counters, but left a mess under our kitchen sink when they left our house. Without asking, they took our old counter top that my husband wanted for another location in our house. After I emailed asking where it was, they said they would bring it back the following week. They never showed up. I've contacted them numerous times since, to get our counter back, and I get no response.
