ones. I told her no. That is not part of the contract just to get new ones. I turned them all on and they worked. She said no, they looked aged. I said that is not an agreement & you already saw this. She requested new light fixtures, and we did do this. Because of this, and her not moving in, I incurred costs from her, so I refunded her only $400 not, $600. I paid for electricians, cleaning ladies, light fixtures, and the bug man. She cancelled, and the deposit was $200 and the rent was $400. I told her I was keeping $200 because of the costs I incurred from her. She threatened an attorney, and I told her you already signed a contract for a full year, and I let her out of the contract. That is it. The apartment since has been rented, and everything is great.
After she signed the contract, she was already signing new contracts and asking to rent news ones before she even moved in. We are in a small community, therefore all of landlords talk to one another & that is how I found this out.
