Review: I came to stop and go to have my deferential fixed. I have left the car and was told it would be fully inspected (rear end) after they take the cover off to determine how bad it is and what it needs. I picked up the car few days later and was told they put in new parts but while driving home from the shop the deferential was still making noise and wasn't fixed. I called the owner right away to let him know that the car is still bad so I was told to bring it back after the weekend. Then was told they didn't put the right set in and this time they will get the right part. So I drop the car off again for another few days and left with no car for another couple days. The owner would never call me or let me know what was going on with the car where I had to constantly call and call to find out whats going on and when would it be ready. So after finally picking it up AGAIN after almost a week. The car was ok for few days until driven on the highway and it went bad again!!! Owner was called back and told me to bring it back in AGAIN leaving me without a car. So this time they tried to order an original part from [redacted] that's what at least I was told and then the car was there for over a WEEK. And again constantly calling and calling to find out when will the car be ready and constantly getting excuses and excuses and then I was told a machinist guy came out to set the part in and this is already 4 weeks into working on this car where they found out the housing was bad. So I don't understand who and how was this car checked in the first place that it took 4 weeks working on the car to found this out. So where I was promised new parts now they told me there need to put an old part in which I didn't want in first place when I brought the car in I told the owner this car is used for towing horses and I was going to sell the car if it would be old parts. So here I am 4 weeks in no car and constant excuses while being left with no car. So now we were waiting for the old rear end to come in and every two, three days I was told each part that was coming in was not good. And after 6 week finally a decent part came in and was put in I was called to pick up my car when I get there the car wouldn't even start it had to be jump started then I started driving and notice there is almost no brakes on my car. The mechanic that worked on the car never bleed the rear breaks and put old calipers on my car where my old once where perfectly fine and on top of it all the deferential that was "fixed" is leaking oil. So I basically picked up my car in worst condition then it was left there. I think this shop is a big joke after 6 weeks of keeping my car and leaving me with no car not even a rental and then they give me back the car that has no brakes and now I have to go to another shop to get them all bleed. I refuse to ever go back to this awful place. The owner complain that he had to put more money in to it and told me he was doing me a favor to do all this "extra" work and other parts. which he could of avoided if he actually looked at the car correctly in the first place and fixed it the first time or should of told me they don't know how to fix it and I would of left and saved 1500$Desired Settlement: I feel that I should be getting some kind of refund because the car is still not drivable and I need to spend more money on fixing things that they messed up. And I refuse to go back to this place for any kind of work because they don't know what they are doing.

AS A RESPECTED BUSINESS OWNER FOR 38 YEARS WITH AN A+ BUSINESS RATING, I AM RESPONDING TO THIS COMPLAINT BY [redacted] WHICH I RECEIVED BY MAIL ON JUNE 17, 2015.THE CAR WAS BROUGHT TO US WITH A REAR DIFFERENTIAL FAILURE ON 4/28/2015 INVOICE # 21862. THE COST OF THIS REPAIR WAS $1500.00 WHICH INCLUDED REPLACING THE RING AND PINION AND ALL DIFFERENTIAL BEARINGS, SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL AND SUPPLIES. THIS TYPE OF REPAIR IS DONE REGULARLY AT OUR SHOP WITH LITTLE DIFFICULTY.THE CUSTOMER CAME BACK TO OUR SHOP ON 5/11/2015 INVOICE #[redacted] AND THE DIFFERENTIAL RING AND PINION HAD FAILED A SECOND TIME. AT THIS TIME, WE FOUND THE RING AND PINION DAMAGED AGAIN SO THE SHOP ORDERED ANOTHER RING AND PINION AND BEARING KIT AND REPLACED THESE COMPONENTS AT NO CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER. (6 HOURS OF LABOR)THE VERY NEXT DAY, ON 5/12/2015 INVOICE #[redacted], THE SHOP REMOVED THE RING AND PINION FOR A THIRD TIME AT NO CHARGE DUE TO A GEAR NOISE. UPON RESEARCH AND SPEAKING WITH MY SUPPLIER, [redacted], WE DECIDED TO ORDER ALL DIFFERENTIAL BEARINGS FROM THE DEALER DUE TO A POSSIBLE CHANGE IN DESIGN FROM THE AFTER MARKET TO OEM. UNFORTUNATELY, ALL OF THIS WORK MADE NO DIFFERENCE . THE NOISE WAS STILL PRESENT. ALL THIS WORK WAS DONE AT NO CHARGE TO OUR CUSTOMER. WE SPENT 6 HOURS OF LABOR (NO CHARGE)AND NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE OEM BEARINGS TO CUSTOMER.FINALLY, WE TOOK THE DIFFERENTIAL APART AND HAD A MACHINIST COME TO OUR REPAIR FACILITY ON 5/15/2015 TO MEASURE AND INSPECT THE DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING (CASE) ONLY TO FIND THE DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING WAS NOT WITHIN SPECS; THUS CAUSING ALL 3 DIFFERENTIAL RING AND PINIONS TO FAIL. AT THIS TIME, THE CAR NEEDED THE DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING AND OUR SHOP ORDERED AND REPLACED THE HOUSING ON 5/29/2015. INVOICE #[redacted] DID NOT HAVE HER CAR FROM 5/12/2015 TO 5/29/2015 WHICH WAS VERY UPSETTING TO HER AND STRESSFUL TO OUR SHOP BUT THERE WAS NOT ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE ON OUR PART. WE WERE WAITING FOR THE CORRECT DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING WHICH TOOK 10 DAYS TO RECEIVE. SHE STATED, "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU PUT IN MY CAR...I AM GOING TO SELL IT." HOWEVER, OUR SHOP DOES NOT STAY IN BUSINESS FOR 38 YEARS TO DO REPAIR WORK INCORRECTLY. WE SPENT AN ADDITIONAL $600.00 TO BUY THIS HOUSING AT NO CHARGE TO OUR CUSTOMER. INVOICE #[redacted]. UPON PICKUP, THE CUSTOMER BECAME VERY UPSET BECAUSE THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE JUMPED. OUR TECHNICIAN HAD FINISHED THE CAR AT 9:00AM AND HAD ACCIDENTALLY LEFT THE PARK LIGHTS ON. HE WAITED FOR THE CUSTOMER FOR AN ADDITIONAL HOUR AND A HALF AFTER CLOSING TO ALLOW FOR PICK UP AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. ON MONDAY, JUNE 1, 2015 , I CALLED [redacted] AT APPROXIMMATELY 9:00AM JUST TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING WAS AS A FOLLOW UP . [redacted] NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. AS FOR THE COMPLAINT REGARDING THE BRAKES, OUR SHOP WAS NEVER INFORMED THERE WAS A PROBLEM. IF SO, BLEEDING THE BRAKES WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE AS A COURTESY AT NO CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT PART OF THE DIFFERENTIAL JOB. IT IS A VERY EASY PROCEDURE TO PERFORM. WE DID NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A REPLACEMENT BRAKE LINE PUT ON THE REAR BRAKES PRIOR TO OUR REPAIR WORK. UPON RECEIVING THIS LETTER ON JUNE 17, 2015, I CALLED [redacted] AND LEFT A MESSAGE STATING THAT WHATEVER SHE NEEDED TO DO, WOULD BE DONE AT NO CHARGE AND TO PLEASE BRING THE CAR BACK RATHER THAN IGNORE MY CALLS AND HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ELSEWHERE FOR NO REASON. THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE PROCESS, I SPOKE TO [redacted] ALMOST DAILY; KEEPING HER INFORMED. I UNDERSTOOD HER FRUSTRATION AND DID EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO HELP THIS CUSTOMER. WE DO NOT RUN FROM OUR RESPONSIBILITIES HERE AT STOP AND GO AND IF [redacted] STILL NEEDS ANY WORK DONE, I WOULD BE GLAD TO ASSIST HER AT NO CHARGE.THANK YOU.[redacted]OWNER; STOP AND GO TRANSMISSIONS[redacted]
