Review: I went into the Stop In on Sunday evening Aug 24,2014, I swiped my card for the amount of $12.91 for my purchases. That charge is still pending and the store took it upon themselves to run my card again on Tuesday, Aug 26,2014 I did not go in that store that day the charge is also $12.91. When I contacted them I was given a corporate number,I spoke to [redacted] and the resolution is I have to wait for the pending to clear before they can refund my money or I don't really know what can be done for you. Really you can charge my card but can't refund it u acceptable. So my card has been charge double and put me in the "red" it has been 5 days.Desired Settlement: I want $12.91 put back on my card ASAP. I don't want to wait another day this is poor customer service and really they should have their credit/debit privileges revoked cash only if they can't refund their mistakes.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: Hello there,My complaint is with this horrendous store that I have been going to for years. When a store is 24hr a store should always be open. My complaint is that every time I'm craving a snack or a soda (such a time like 2am) the lights are turned off and the doors are locked. There's a sign says will open back up in an hour or so. Now, it doesn't take any it to think, well a 24hr would be open! But not this store. This store has the audacity to close (for whatever reason) at like 2am! I work for 7-Eleven which is a 24/7 store and we don't do that. This is absurd. The employees probably just sit down and not so anything unless they feel like it. Furthermore, I find it distasteful to every consumer who is up at 2 or 3am who needs essential items that they can't procure because that store decides to close for an hour. This defeats the whole purpose in saying that it is a 24 hour store. This needs to be fixed immediately and I'm not hesitant to take it to court either.Desired Settlement: Keep the store open. Or find new employees who can tolerate a shift with the doors open at all hours. Or risk a lawsuit. It's absurd for the employees to do that and quite frankly, distasteful to the company. Or a monetary reward will suffice as I have to wait it out to get my items due to the employee or employees closing the store.

I appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint directed to Stop ln #58, [redacted], Roanoke Virginia. I represent Stop In as a Territory Manager, with twelve stores in the Roanoke area, including the [redacted] location. This store is a 24-hour location as posted on site. Relevant to Mr. [redacted] complaint is the fact that we co-operate with the instructions of the Roanoke City Police Department, during Summer months (or upon other request), to close the store for 1-2 hours overnight, typically between 1am-3am, when groups of troublemakers known to the Police are moving about the City, generally causing disturbances. This is most often on Friday and Saturday nights, but always subject to request by Roanoke City, regardless of day of the week. We gladly follow these instructions, although detrimental to our business, in order to maintain our long-standing status as a responsible business partner in all localities of our business operations, throughout Virginia and West Virginia.
Additionally, through our review of this complaint we have also realized that the [redacted] location has been occasionally closing for brief periods of time, during the overnight hours, for cleaning and stocking, on nights where it was not called for by the RPD. These closings were not sanctioned or directed by Stop In Food Stores, and have since been eliminated. Please let Mr. [redacted] know that we apologize for his inconvenience, but hardly feel as though it rises to the level of "horrendous" service. He maintains that he has been a longstanding customer, and we appreciate that. Given his current employer, we take ¡t as a compliment that he frequents our store, and we will do our very best to fulfill his expectations of customer service in the future. I would hope and expect that his (and our) time would be better spent outside the courtroom, with issues more deserving of the State's attention. If he had just called our Home Office, or notified our Store Manager, we could have easily resolved this complaint to everyone's satisfaction.
Given the circumstances, I am afraid that the complaint does not rise to the level deserving a "monetary reward", in our opinion. If approached differently, we would have been amenable to offering a gift certificate to compensate Mr. [redacted] for his inconvenience. Given the hostile nature of the complaint we feel as though our response is appropriate to address his concerns.
Please let us know if any other information in this matter is necessary. Thank you for your help in resolving this matter!
Very Truly Yours,
Territory Manager
this review is for the location on Madison in Covington VA. Please have them really keep the store clean at all times including bathrooms. It needs better organization in the store it looks like a [redacted] shop or something. Most importantly please check into the management, if there is any as the store is poorly run.
Review: I put $15.00 worth of gas in my 96 Mustang Gt., from the Stop In on the way home my car starts to sputter and smoke. We push my car to my mechanic which then pulls a large amount of water from my tank and informs me I need a new fuel pump installed which runs upward of $400.00. The store says that it is not their fault. My Car was running very well until I put their gas in my car.I am a disabled Veteran, so paying mechanic bills for their mistake, is not a possibility.I have pictures and the mechanic would gladly make a statement and provide proof that this was [redacted] fault not mineCordially[redacted]Desired Settlement: Reimburse me for the mechanic's fee and cost for the replacement of the fuel pump in my Mustang.

Regarding incident #[redacted] alleges that he received water in his tank of gasoline which he purchased on August 1st. We monitor our tanks daily for water. Looking at our records for that date there is no indication of water. Also, on August 1st we sold over 1,200 gallons of gasoline. If there was water in the tank many other customers would have also
