To Whom It May Concern: I’m responding to the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] : Mr [redacted] has been renting 10xstorage space with Storage Express since December 2013.? I have attached the Rental Agreement that Mr [redacted] signed, which reflects our charges when a customer goes past due Storage Express has costs associated with collecting past due rents and we have waived fees for Mr [redacted] in the past.? Unfortunately, he gets upset and hangs up on us when we start discussing the account.? We waived the first fee of $15, but without payments being made, fees will be assessed per the agreement he signedI will be very happy to speak to Mr [redacted] and in fact left a message for him, but he never returned my callCordially, [redacted] ?

The substantial amount of fees being added by Storage Express are making it impossible to repay the balance possible, and the business is unwilling to offer any type of reasonable accommodation while I am on a limited income while on unemployment

Breakdown of his past due account: Balance remaining from 10/11/17 rent - $96.00 Balance after a partial payment                                           ...⇄ 11/11/17 rent - $116.00               = Balance of $212.00                                           ...⇄ 11/18/17 Lien Fee - $30               = Balance of $242.00                                           ...⇄ 12/11/17 rent - $116.00               = Balance of $358.00                                           ...⇄ 12/26/17 payment - $100.00       = Balance of $258.00                                           ...⇄ 01/04/18 Inventory Fee - $40     = Balance of $298.00                                           ...⇄ 01/11/18 rent - $116.00                 = Balance of $414.00   Mr. [redacted] has a $414 balance and has made one payment in the past 3 months, so fees are valid.  In addition, Mr. [redacted] keeps hanging up on us when we start talking about his account and balance. He made arrangements with us and promised to pay $50 a week, but has not lived up to those arrangements. We dispute that there are substantial fees added to Mr. [redacted] account.  We waived the first fee of $15, but without payments being made, fees will be assessed per the agreement he signed.
