4/13/2017I received the complaint with ID#*** re: *** ***I have researched the situation and have found no merit to the claimThis is what we know to be true:Lease date/mov6/11/5/23/Balanced owed 5/23/made a payment by *** ending *** for
6/13/received a chargeback from the credit card company that the customer claimed she did not authorize this paymentThis was deducted from our bank account 6/24/reversed the payment in *** ***'s accountNo other payments have been received by the customer after 5/23/Not sure what payment she is referring to on 7/15/We checked her account and found no paymentWe also ran a query with the credit card processing company and found no payment for in the month of JulyNot one transaction at the entire property was made by credit card for that amount4/7/Balance on account for 1176.8013/customer lock is still on storage unitTHIS UNIT HAS NOT BEEN AUCTIONED OFF.So in summary, the customer's items are still at the property and have not been auctioned offThere was no record of a july payment, which is why we requested something from her bank/credit card company showing the charge because we do not find this transactionTherefore a refund can not be given for a payment never receivedIf there was a transaction then her bank would have done another charge back.I have attached back up to show the original 5/23/payment and that the amount was removed from our bank account, also the query searching for the 7/15/charge with no resultsThe customer account is severely past due and we will have no other recourse but to put the account through the state foreclosure process and inevitably auction off the storage unit for non payment, if this is not resolved soonThis is never our prefered step but sometimes necessaryAs an alternative to this, we would be willing to negotiate the current balance with her to pay a lesser agreed upon amount and vacate the unit and the property with her goods.Regards,Sheilia KDirector of Operations
