We had gotten notification from our bank that [redacted] was disputing three months...

rent on his wife's unit [redacted] so our account was debited. We had given the bank a response to [redacted]'s claim with proof of the three months that was due us and the bank ruled in our favor and credited us our money back on [redacted]. [redacted] or his wife never removed all the contents of the unit, refused to make any more payments or remove the lock stating they live too far away. In response to his current claim that there was no security deposit issued on [redacted] was supposed to vacate, the unit still contains several items, yet he is not paying the rent or removing the contents. We were told by [redacted] not to charge his credit card anymore so both units [redacted] and [redacted] owe rent and have contents in them, therefore no secutity deposit would be issued.

Review: I rented a storage unit on 9/**/2014 - initially paying $384.66 which includes 1 month security of $176. A letter was sent to me in February of this year explaining that rent will be doubled. No reason was listed on the letter. When I called to question why this is, I was told that I am being evicted and the letter was not applicable anymore. My guess why this is would be that they do not want any record of my eviction on paper for whatever reason. After I asked why am I being evicted, I was told "Because we can evict you, so we will." I asked the person's name and was told "[redacted]. I don't have a last name". I asked to speak with a [redacted] and she was unwilling to assist me for that request. She told me, and assured me that my security would be refunded, but this has not happened. I have called the facility, only to get her on the phone giving me no help, instead offering a rude, useless attitude for reasons that I can not imagine why. I called another Storage Town for help, and was assured I would get a return call the following day with some answers. This did not happen. I vacated the unit, nonetheless, within the 9 day window I was given by [redacted] when I spoke with her, and still did not receive the security deposit I was assured I was going to get. Now, the question keeps popping up... what would have happened if I did not call promptly? Would my belongings just be ripped out and auctioned off without a word from them? I can't imagine a person, that can act like this, can still even have a job, when there are plenty of other people in need of work willing to do the right thing. She has made a comedy of errors, that I will not mention here for space and relevance concerns regarding another unit I have rented from the same facility, but the short of that is she says one thing, and then that gets changed into another thing. Keeping the pattern in mind, I do not see my refund happening, since that is par for the course from her. I can't get anyone else on the phone for a conversation with hopes of even just a simple explanation of why this company has done what they have, or to see any hope of repercussion of [redacted]'s complete attitude and unwillingness to cooperate, and I will not speak with her anymore. I do not deserve to be treated like a piece of trashDesired Settlement: I simply want the $176 deposit refunded, and I want to speak with a [redacted] offering an explanation of the behavior of "[redacted] I don't have a last name", and the reasons why my rent was doubled, then I was evicted two days after.
