I signed a storage contract on 2/9/for $monthly payments which I paid promptly with recurring bank payments from my account at Bank of AmericaI canceled the arrangement on 5/3/to the end of 6/30/in writing by hand-carried letter to the store on 5/3/All my items were removed from the storage facility by 6/28/I forgot to stop the automated bank payments in time and the bank made a payment for JulyI asked the store manager (Jack) for a refund but he simply refused

I recently vacated a storage unit currently owned by StoreSmart Self Storage I have been renting this unit for about years The storage facility seems to have changed hands at least once maybe more in the past years The new and current company has stated that a day written notice must be given when vacating there unitsThe rental agreement that I signed never stated this I told them that I was unaware of this fact and that I could no longer afford their storage units as the cost seems to have risen at least four times since the current company has taken over They responded that even though I never signed anything acknowledging that I was aware of the new companies policy that I am required to pay for another full month of rent for the month of March Which they will of course rent to another tenant receiving double rent for the month of March It does not seem fair that a company can make new rules for their tenants without getting some form of acknowledgement stat
